MicroFreak & Iridium. User wavetable in the MicroFreak

I have been playing about with the user wavetables in the MicroFreak. I found it difficult to get any good results at first, then I found some info on the web. Now I am getting some interesting sounds. Here with the help of the Iridium and UNO for bass. A 3min preview of a 10min track.

does it make sense to have a microfreak when you have an iridium ??

The Iridium is much more powerful, and MUCH more expensive than the MicroFreak. If you had to choose, yes the Iridium wins. However the MicroFreak has some interesting functions such as the sequencer heat and random functions, poly AT keyboard and vocoder. I know the keyboard version of the Iridium has poly AT, if you have the room. They are both tools, I use them as needed, and often use the poly AT keyboard and sequencer on the MicroFreak to play the Iridium desktop.
