Lamp in Deep Waters me too, im so jealous. i want my locks to be all pretty and curly like that but they are not because i started mine with straightened ends. im just ready for my natural hair to grow out already lol. im so impatient lol

I mix conditioner and water in spray bottle. When I give her yarn box braids her hair loves it during winter. The yarn keeps it protected and it gets all the product to her hair. Everytime I take yarn braids out it's like a month of conditioning during the driest months and her hair loves it.

I like this. My hair has a tendency to really dry out and since this is my first wash since installing my braid locs I need some moisturizer. I think this will work for me. Thanks. By the way...your skin and hair look great.

I mix ecostyler with oil... only way I don't get build up on her hair. Its my go to for small twists that I want to last the week and still look good for twist out days in because of the oil I add to it. I remix it every time just shack up my jar. I can wet it and still not have the build up. Easiest for Washing too... I was thinking of trying coconut vinegar during take down of braids for wash after long protective style

Sounds like you do a lot of research and a very good job taking care of her hair!

@@AvionBartlett lol I try. I need an army especially since I can't do flat braids. But yes it was important that I do my research. Her hair does the exact opposite of what my hair does. Only took one time brushing out a shrunk fro to understand stretching, her hair is down her back but shrunk it's about 2cm long. When I do chunky box braids her head takes about 150 braids. Y I'm really really considering locs. I hate putting all that hair away to be hidden or tied up. Her fro is so huge and glorious. But 5 week rebraid schedule just is way too much. She wud rather play then tane that mane. I'm going to try aloe this weekend. I have a question if I should trim b4 locs or after install. I want shape but not sure if I should shape b4 or after. I want to keep as much length as possible but I know a trim wud go a long way in those first few months

I have started my microlocs on the 31th of October and your twist definition is exactly like mine (all coiled up from top to bottom :) ). Usually, i dont know if its always stretch but i don't see those coil on microlocs ! Because you are more advanced in your process, i will look up to you to kind see how its going to turn out ! And also see the difference, because i will not use the same method for interloking as you ! But for now i'm in love with yours and mine !! =)

Love. My daughter likes braids and putting up her hair in ponytails and buns but hates getting it braided, ur hair is so cute. I think its perfect. She has 4c hair and like 4 heads of it and I love how the microloc keeps a beautiful definition to them especially on 4c type hair. Her hair wants to be in these tiny coiled twists of hair naturally anyways. If she ties it up and covers her head at night and we wash weekly do u think this is a style for a busy tween? What about swimming because we love to swim during summer? Love that u can keep ur natural hair out and down and I've seen some that look like a big puff of micro locs just big and gorgeous full head. My kid has lots of hair.

I think it will be a great style for a tween! Especially since there isnt always a lot of time for upkeep! It shouldn't be an issue with swimming as long as her hair is washed!

Just FYI, you're not supposed to use regular towels because they leave lint in your hair

Love your hair! Mine looks almost exactly the same. I have 542 DIY interlocked microlocs. And I use the 4-point rotation 🙂
@jelanilinton81233 жыл бұрын
Is that with two strand twists?
@tamarialakayye5 жыл бұрын
Great video, love how your hair is!! What point rotation do you use to retightening??
