Hi i have a question about mic sensitivity. A. When the sound reaches the mic, the volume that the mic hear is 94db spl? B. Or the volume of sound generated right in front of the speaker is 94db spl? Which one is right...? Or both are wrong? I'm confused. Bc i think i just heard 'the distance between the mic and the speaker is 1meter when it is measured. And the speaker make 94db spl sound.' (i dont know if what i heard is correct).

Not to criticize, but you're assuming your sound source is static, which is seldom, if ever the case. Many people lean in to make their point or think they know how a mic works in a live situation, like singing and physically pull away. I'll assume this is where a limiter/compressor comes in to save your day and stop or minimize your levels from jumping through the roof.
