Microscopic Discectomy - Dr. Apoorv Kumar Agarwal

A 30-year-old gentleman presented to us with severe persistent low back and leg pain. He had visited multiple hospitals and doctors, but continued to suffer with the pain, which had affected his lifestyle to a great extent. After clinico-radiological evaluation, he was diagnosed to be suffering from L4-L5 disc herniation. He was operated for the same wherein L4-L5 microscopic discectomy was done. The surgery was absolutely without any complications and without any neurological deficits. He started walking pain-free on the same evening of the surgery and was then discharged from hospital on post-op day 1.
It is a great pleasure for any doctor to see his patients recovering well and leading a healthy and fruitful life.
