Really like the compiled version of all the microservice beginner tutorial into a single video. I usually get diverted while searching for next videos but this way I was on track and engaged throughout the video. Strange that I have been part of microservice pattern. But never got the entire and overall overview of microservice arhcitecture. Really informative. Thanks

Thank you, and when it comes to the last part api gateway, i think in the newest version of spring boot, the spring.cloud.gateway.discovery.locator.enabled=true can not be used anymore, and i just wonder what alternative do we have? Thank you so much !

Great Tutorial. Have doubt on how registration of individual microservices to eureka server is happening in the background as I only see that you are adding dependencies in pom.xml file but no other step is shown in the video
@Telusko Жыл бұрын
because of the presence of dependencies in pom.xml it understands to use it with default config. If you want to customize the config then you need mention it in application.properties.

I have a question arisen in question-services you have created methods to generate questions ID, getQuestions by ID and getScore. And then you had copied to those method and created interface in quiz-services and pasted those methods and removed body parts. So my question is If I want to change the method name or something else in question-services so I have to change manually in quiz-services or in some where else where I will use this questions-services, so there is anything else technics which can solve this issue?

if (Questionservice and Quizservice),both are independent services then how the PERSON handling QuizService can know about the method name used by man handling QuestionService????????????????????? PLEASE ANSWER THIS
@nabinbudhathoki44025 ай бұрын
Your video is great but I don't know why many youtubers like you just don't show implementation . Rather than creating all those services and wasting hour. I mean if you want to show implementation of communicating between two services just create two services with one end point each show the actual configuration setup, setting up dependency on pom.xml, annotation used for communication. Same goes for Service Registration, Api Gateway, fault tolerance. Just make video concise show necessary configuration, dependency, and simple method to implement.

I don’t know why the heck programmers have made this IT and programming world so difficult and confusing for them by bringing in these frameworks and protocols? Things were done much simpler and easier way in the past. Stand alone monolith application doing everything and less confusing to understand as to what was going on.

Really confused on when to use getmapping , postmappinh
@anishaa3298 Жыл бұрын
get mapping is to get all details, if you follow the previous video you can find that getmapping is used to get all questions, and get all questions by category. postmapping is to add details. if you follow the previous video, post mapping is used to add stuff, like it is used to add question. whereas putMapping is for update, e.g update question by id. you are welcome :)
@anishaa3298 Жыл бұрын
get mapping: get data post mapping: submit any data. in this example in the QuestionController.java in the QuestionService folder, he is getting questions based on the submitted questionIds :) Again you are welcome :)
