I think this is one of the best free tutorials for O365 currently available. I hope one day it will be a training site for O365 professionals and the IT staff who would like to gain, "Role-based certifications" As we won't get out of the Covid at least for another year, O365 jobs are wanted on a larger scale here in the UK. So the O365 expert is the most popular position, from migration to consulting, and these salaries starting from £60K per annum. Let hope Concept Works will make this happened, much appreciated for all the spectacular tutorials.

Great tutorial. Needed to get my head around App Proxy and this summarised it nicely. Now I just need to understand why a vendor is saying we need to stand up a dedicated VM to enable App Proxy in one of our new Azure Sub's. I don't recall ever having to stage a VM for App Proxy in our other Sub's. Maybe it's because the connecting Applications are hosted on Ubuntu, which would mean the connector can't be installed natively on the Ubuntu VMs.

Do we need to install connectors on all DC's in the environment? If we are having multiple DC's and also DC's at remote sites?

You only need ONE proxy. And it's better (more secure) if you DO NOT install it on DC itself, but separate computer.

Is it possible to use a service principal for authentication? If an external vendor's application is making XML/SOAP https calls to collect data from our internal server, is it still possible to use Azure Application Proxy in this scenario? It seems like the user is prompted for manually entering their username/password, so it seems like that would not work in our use case. Thank you for the awesome Azure content!
