Hey everyone, let's go swimming in OneLake and Microsoft Fabric! Just like other topics, I am sure, after watching your video, I will be able to actually use Fabric and be productive. The first video I saw was on Networking master class and I refer to the video if I have any questions rather than the Microsoft documentation! To be honest ppl think I am a networking guy after i fixed many networking issues. Just because I saw your video's. All credit to you John!

I got my DP900 certification listening to John, but my purpose was to learn Fabric, the DP900 touches it briefly and I was still very hungry to learn more, so this introduction was simply "amazing", really good, this gives you critical insights that you need to know approaching fabric, fulfills the definition of "Awesome Training". John, Very Big Thank You Sir.

Great overview John. I have decided to feature this video in the first issue of Fabric Digest, a new newsletter I am starting all about Fabric. The first issue comes out on Monday.

Once again, John has done a masterfully awesome job of breaking things down and explaining it as intuitively as possible. . Microsoft documentation does nto even bring this level of detail. Thank you John. You are a master rescuer in my book!!!!

Great overview, I always thought Microsoft Fabric was another name for the Azure backbone, never have I been so wrong. Thanks John.

A great overview John. A lot going on here! So a unified data structure (parquet), with a unified set of tools that can read and write that data, while metadata describes the data itself with xtables translating between the different metadata formats. Great Job

Your videos helped me escape helldesk after being stuck for four years and now I'm a network admin. My other colleagues had certs but could not explain Azure like you can. Thank you for this informative content.

capacity burst is such a great and needed feature. I remember the absolute pain of using cosmos db before auto adjusting throughput was a thing. IO Peaks causing errors and force us to assigned high throughput levels which were going to waste 90% of the day.

Great video. Very new to MS Fabric etc as I come from the infrastructure side of the street. But really want to be able to advise/architect better solutions rather than the usual fragmented - Data Bricks - Azure Synapse etc. Being able to have it nearly all under "one roof", definitely assists newbies like myself.

With the ability to burst, smooth, scale and even pause/resume there is a lot you can do to optimize.
