I bought this at the same time the new UK/Ireland update was downloaded, though it would be great for exploring in VR. It's a very nice plane as long as your not in a hurry to get anywhere, but then that's the whole point, get low and slow and enjoy the scenery. I don't have a problem with the brakes squeaking while in flight so no idea on that one. The one criticism I do have with it is the sound loop for the engine needs some work, it sounds like it has a misfire every time the sound restarts.

beautiful ... but i can't fly it on fs2020 ... what settings should i put in the weight balance? the nose of the ultralight beats down and I can't take off

Weird - I just leave it stock - I will have to fly it again -maybe it broke with the patch.

@@bluelineband103 same issue. No power for take off and nothing so far in the forums. And because l purchased it on marketplace, no manual.

my last comment did not go through, so I post it again: I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEMS WITH THIS PLANE: MAKE SURE THE SETTINGS IN MSFS OPTION "FLIGHT MODEL" IS SET TO "MODERN" - not "classic" !!!!!! 🤩 (some of us may use "classic" setting and that causes all these refered issues. the ones who use "modern" anyway do not understand what we are talking about.) - THAT'S IT! Since I have changed this setting to "MODERN" this plane shows up as the little bird I was expecting. it is really fun to fly and I JUST LOVE IT... I hope this will help you... regards, Franz 🛩

Ladies and gentlemen this is an unscheduled sight seeing trip over the sound and associated terrain. Please buckle up. The weather is fine with some overcast. We do have an issue with malfunctioning flaps, but it’s nothing to worry about.

I bought this plane but I can't fly it because with full throttle I can't even get to 20 mph. It feel like the front wheel is locked up and I have checked the brakes on my control setup and removed the parking brake. The engine sounds horrible like it is missing and not coming to full throttle. Anyone else have similar problems? I've bought a pig in a poke if I can't figure these issues out.

Weird - I haven't flow it in a while - maybe a recent patch broke it.

@@kingarthursims I don't know. It was like this straight out of the box. I bought it, downloaded it, unzipped the file, moved the unzipped file to my community folder in MSFS, opened up MSFS, chose it as my airplane, chose an airport (one that is close to where I grew up), and it is still there (digitally speaking of course) because the thing will not take off. Anyway to get a refund from the creator you think?

If they ever fix the sounds, I'd buy it! :) Can't stand having the sounds being so generic and just wrong.

They just updated it twice this year (2023). They have utterly ruined it. I regret installing the updates.

@@kingarthursims I'm referring to the Aerolight specifically. Not the SU updates. The maker of the Aerolight updated it twice this year. It's horrible now 😔 It was my favorite plane

I regret that I did not read this comments earlier. I bought this plane in the marketplace and I THOUGHT it would be fun - but it isn't at all. Same problems as diskribed here in the comments: blocking brakes, not enough power to take off, wrong center of gravity, even when starting a flight up in the air, there is no way to fly it home... This is just trash! I am slightly annoyed since this product is sold via microsoft and it is not even cheap!!! I paid less for the ATR... Is there a way to get the money back??? Franz

Yes, first ask steam for a refund, They may send you to microsoft. I have gotten planes refunded before.
