I think xplane 11 is just more of a simulator, msfs is more like a game with stunning graphics

This argument is no longer valid at all. It could be better in physics but not by a large amount. If there's one thing Microsoft Flight Simulator does that XPlane doesn't do, it's constantly updating its simulator. And if there's one thing Microsoft Flight Simulator has done since it came out in 2020, it's constantly updating it in all aspects. Microsoft Flight Simulator could have slightly lower physics than xplane but not by much. I prefer that and having extremely high graphics than having slightly superior physics but having graphics that look like cardboard. Nowadays, in 2024, saying that graphics don't matter in a simulator is a totally stupid and invalid argument. Of course they matter because it's the first thing you see when you're flying, and if what you're seeing are a couple of houses and some poorly rendered textures, then It doesn't matter what you say about physics, it's still not going to bring people We all know that in one aspect in general Microsoft Flight Simulator is superior to XPlane and whoever does not think that is because they do not want to accept reality. I am not saying that Xplane is bad but let's be honest Microsoft Simulator has surpassed Xplane in almost all aspects and so on. And get ready for what's coming this year because Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is just around the corner

You're absolutely right, msfs is just way better in updates and grafics and possibilitys, but I think xplane 11 is the best bang for your buck, if you want that realistic flight feeling... But I guess msfs 2024 will just wipe out everything else

I use currently both, but I use more often (by far) X-Plane 11.

The reason why I have chosen X-plane 11 is because it's cheaper, more interactive, more options and of coarse, does't need a lot of power on my laptop, I play the game on my MacBook air M1, it works smooth like butter

I use only XP 11 and 12 with Toliss A319/A321, Flight Factor A320/A350, Flight Factor 757/767, Rotate MD-11 / MD-80, Zibo 737-800, Inibuilds A300/A310, Hotstart CL 650, Deltawings CRJ-900. Also, I have 6 TB Orthos and Simheaven scenery. MSFS...I uninstalled it, feels too much like a game.

Both! If you dont exceed you AOA but you reach minimums speeds you will stall

@@gunlover5147 only the critical angle of attack getting exceeded. Trust me, I've done power on Stalls before in real life with my students, they were at 29 kts indicated airspeed and the plane was at about 20 degrees nose up. The critical aoa is 16-20 degrees in a general aviation aircraft, and the stall didn't occur until after 20 degrees was exceeded.

so what is your argument? if it is the recommended speed, then it should not stall, it means the is an issue with the physics , hope they fix it

@@jostmathe it could also be from there being an instrument installation error in the pitot tube, that's why there's calibrated airspeed. There's common mistakes with learning pilots to focus on the airspeed indicator during Stalls rather than exceeding the critical AOA. I mean of course 40kts is the stall speed is good to know, especially during spin training. But most importantly know the critical angle of attack can be exceeded at anytime, and that's when you stall.

@@HoustonGamerTVHGTV bro, you're claiming to be a CFI, but then I really doubt why you haven't clearly mentioned that the "critical aoa" is defined by your airspeed. This is one of the first things we learnt when we started our MPL over 5 years ago. 2nd lesson in, stall and spin training. I feel like this is very important to mention, to make sure you won't have a misunderstanding.

I've always been MSFS but 2020 will not run, (keeps crashing) on my i7 w/ 16G ram and Ti1080, just got X-Plane 11 from a friend and gonna give it a spin. Microsoft pushed out FS2020 with a lot of bugs and high end requirements. Shouldn't have to buy a new PC and MS doesn't care.

Bro you really said “ xplane feels more stable, and you feel like you got control pf the plane”??? In MFS you have control pf the plane and plane responds faster!! I uses tocplay xp 12 and when i tries mfs i was just stunned by it. MFS2020 and waiting for MFS 2024. Overall, MFS is a better game/Sim, you can do way more, graphics and scenarios are crazy beautiful and i can keep going. All XP has is good airplane dynamics and air physics, thats it. Graphics are ok , map is horrible, you feel like you flying in the same spot. You need to choose your “scenery” and if you go out of bounds its just all water. just by being able to talk to ATC and the google maps world MFS literally beats XP in everyway possible
