It was an RNAV approach so you should have swapped to GPS tracking (magenta) and not the green localiser tracking. Press the CDI button along the bottom of the left hand screen to swap to GPS.

For the transponder change, press XPDR on the bottom of the G1000, then Code and press the numbers. Really enjoying your channel my dude, keep up the good work.

I flew this certificate today and it is a total mess. Its an RNAV approach and the ATC says, that I have to land on Runway 24. But this is 27.

They wanted you to fly a circle to land. Technically if it was an actual check ride he would have failed in the video because he was supposed to level off and circle to runway 24. That being said the weather in the video is nowhere near close to being able to circle for a different runway. Then again it’s just a sim and not the real world but that’s why ATC said what they said

No as long as you're setting AP to the specific things it wants you at!

Using the autopilot is allowed and encouraged in the real IFR test. You should learn to use it

Maintain Level of 270 would mean FL270 | 27,000 Feet.
