Am I the only one that gets rescue targets on sheer cliffs and in dense forests where you literally cannot land? About 50% of the SAR missions I take end up that way and it's just a huge waste of time. It would be fine with the hoist, but I can't get that cert until I get 10 successful SAR missions

Same issue. Everybody has that issue. A lot of time impossible to lands. On steep slopes you can land in a certain way, keep your stick a bit forward, some throttle.. just like they do in real life in the mountains.. but as soon as the animation starts you loose control and the heli starts to slide down the mountain. I got the same problem.. and I try to get to hoisting but a lot of missions are a waist of time. It seems like the missions automatically generate but they didnt code the right 'conditions'. That the missing people can only spawn on flat areas or not within a range of so many meters within obstacles (trees and stuff). Hopefully they fix it soon

Pilot never seems to look around. Slight scan every once in a while. You need your head on a swivel to do SAR.

Tobii doesn't properly work yet for MSFS24. I think the game or tobii still needs to to fix that. So third party software is used but its extremely limited. I need to look to the back like an owl to look to properly to the right and a lot of times you will glitch to the roof in a heli then. I hope it gets fixed soon
