I don't think a lot of people understand that the military and even other civilian Enterprises have switched over to scenario-based training Microsoft flight simulator 2024 is. Essentially scenario base training. I'm a real pilot and I'm excited for it. The only other element I would really like to see is voice activated voice interactive ATC

​@@miketate2667 maybe they have optimized the "jump to" option. There is a option in mfsf2020 to jump to any point in your flight (if you used the ingame flightplanner). So after reaching your cruzingaltitude you can jump to the TOD, but it is buggy and not always working. I hope they improve this feature in MSFS2024!

I agree with you. I was flying around Boston and I didn’t see the Encore Casino there and they were using old data. I was super disappointed with that because I wanted to see the casino in Microsoft flight simulator in real time.

The game size never bothered me, the the flakey system that updates is awful. Every 3 or 4 updates wrecked my sim requiring full de-reinstall, taking days to re download all the assets multiple times due to corrupted files, then re setting up all my cockpit hardware. I have not played 2020 in weeks because the last update broke it (again) so the game crashes every time I go to main menu, and no taxi ribbon (the only assist I use).

Most systems won't be able to fully render the detail in full, so it's pointless to have such detailed scenery. It's entirely pointless fullstop. We've seen how greedy Disney, Netflix and others are getting with pricing, streaming isn't a good future.

This title has received great praise, but have you noticed that despite the fantastic technology incorporated into it, the developers have not addressed one of the biggest immersion breakers in both the 2020 and 2024 versions? This immersion issue is that helicopters appear as winged airplanes to online players. It seems that none of the reviews have pointed out this giant middle finger to the helicopter simmer community.
