Hi Jon, thanks so much for this BPF Playlist. Helped a lot to get a good overview about CDS, model driven apps, flows and how to tie all together :-)

Hi Jon! The Power Family has such a great potential. I have Implemented two Flows in our organization. One for our travel approval process and one for our room rental service. Bot use MS Forms as input interface, MS SharePoint Lists to store the data, status and files and Power BI which pulls the data from SharePoint to report statistics for our internal customers. I need only ~2 weeks - and I am not really a programmer. Our IT chief “programmed” a Power App which is used by our Facility Team to easily enter time-windows when our entrance doors needs to be open for public, to overcome a missing feature in our door control system. So as you can see you guys and girls from MS made our day!

Hi Jon. Excellent video. I am starting in BPF and I just want to develop something like what you show in this video. There is a blog or website where you expose this scenario in detail. I would be very interested.

Great vid! But... how do you assign the BPF to the library or document ?
@cgred816 жыл бұрын
Yeah, would be great to understand this. Was the document shown on the entity form using an Iframe, or was this a custom control?

Ok so I’ve got a little way on this it seems you are creating this as a BFF using the Unified User Interface option, but I still can’t work out how to create he link to call the BFP, please can you explain the link string used! Looking forward to the blog

Hi Jon, thanks for doing this. The Plan 2 requirement, is that for builders of the BPF or all users of the BPF (kind of a non-starter)? Also, as other users have asked, I too would like to understand how to link to the BPF.
@JonJLevesque6 жыл бұрын
That requirement is for all participants of the BPF
@joecrowerojo6 жыл бұрын
@@JonJLevesque That's too bad. This does not make it very viable for us. Thanks for the reply though.

Do we need Dynamics 365 to do Business Process WorkFlows? If the Business Work Flow Tab is available does that mean it should work (says PowerApp in menu bar). I believe I have Office 365 E1.
@JonJLevesque5 жыл бұрын
No, you need CDS which comes with Flow plan 2 or PowerApps plan 2

Jon , great taster introduction to this offering, the first one I have seen. If I understand it right can this amalgamate many flows used in a process to one complete process or is it a completely different animal from flow itself.
@JonJLevesque6 жыл бұрын
You are correct, you can use flows to start and all along this process as well.

@oscarjmg5 жыл бұрын
Jon, let me ask you something. Are Business Process Flows exclusive to Dynamics 365, or can i use them with O365, we ran SAP and would like to use flow and integrate it with flow and Business Process Flows.
@JonJLevesque5 жыл бұрын
Hey Oscar, currently BPF needs CDS to operate. In the future we may make it agnostic, but we aren’t there yet. Sorry!
@chrissygeluk5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Oscar for asking this question! I had *assumed* BPF was a result of D365 too. My tenant is O365 E5 yet I added D365 Customer Engagement and that's when I noticed the BPF "tab" in my Flow. So I thought that was the cause. Thanks Jon for clarifying. Now I know that the BPF "tab" showed up when I created a CDS in my environments! ...would that be correct? 😉
