I doubt this was microsoft's move. Remember they pulled the plug on all legacy halo servers with similar population numbers to older cods. This was all call of duty in my opinion becuause in my eyes if MS was footing the bill for the servers, the plugs would have been pulled

they litterally pulled the legacy servers for halo because they have every single map, game mode and forge in the mcc now. Why keep up 15 to 10 year old servers when you active working servers that don't have tic rate issues ? The MCC litterally has better versions of halo 1 and 2 then the 360 had not only graphics wise but they've restored a ton of cut content and lighting removed from halo 1.
