Had the Duo 1... It's okay but Duo 2 is much better. Go straight to Duo 2

Very, very good review. I am a current Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 User. I was a Microsoft Windows Phone User for a number of years. I left ( correction : was "forced out" by Microsoft) due to no production, or support of all Windows Phones . I was very disheartened and mad at Microsoft. I vowed to never purchase another Microsoft made hardware device and migrated to Samsung Android. Microsoft has a track record of abandoning great products ( ex; The Band ) .Ironically, the Duo was the device I tried to hold out for , but Microsoft kept pushing the release date back( they were trying to resolve the App Gap for the Windows Phone platform). Your honest review has me reconsidering .( smile)

I just bought a new surface duo first gen on ebay a few days ago. I AM BLOWN AWAY and it is my primary device now. Absolutely love it

I think it's worth a shot. Worst case you can always return it if you aren't happy with it. I enjoy it greatly. Let me know if you decide to give it a chance. I'd love to know your thoughts overall.

Phristine, thank you so very much for your thorough and honest review. This particular phone should’ve been marketed to professional people people who depend on Microsoft applications to conduct their day-to-day jobs especially the use of email. I purchased mine and I agree with you. This is an excellent device for professional people.

I been using the first duo for a year now and it was amazing when I got the duo 2 yesterday I was extremely disappointed, it feels awkward to handle in one hand a bit heavier and bulkier and the screen wasn't as vibrant as the first duo it's dull and was this slight tint. No screen protector that works well with the duo 2. And It heats up bad too drains the battery quickly. Cool review

This is top of tops! Microsoft never had the intention of making the surface duo 2 reparable. I just discovered today, that my less than 2 1/2 year old duo 2 is non-repairable, my battery is not lasting like it did, so tried opening a service & repair at Microsoft, and they no longer service the phone!, so I called them and they say they only replace the phones, that they are non serviceable! and that they don't have units anymore! and I ask her so if I wanted a battery replacement how much would have cost me?, and the microsoft lady says since its out of warranty the same as a new phone, but again we don't have stock!. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS COMPANY! so much e-waste and such a loss, ($1700 !) a perfectly working phone, to the trash because they designed this device to not be repairable, you cant even find batteries anywhere!. Please bring this up to the attention of people!

I got this on launch for $900 after trading in the original duo for $650 at Best Buy. I HAD the fold 3 but the protective film is not durable on the fold 3. I had to argue up and down just to have the protective film replaced and it only lasted a year. THE DUO IS A BETTWR HARDWARE DESIGN FOR MULTITASKING

It's got all the phone capability plus all the windows capability wrapped into one device. There's realty nothing like it. It's the best form of multitasking if you ask me

I have one question if I buy the surface duo 2 5G unlock and WiFi off from eBay but the Back of the Body is CRACKED and he said he cannot get past the setup to test further (a good price) and the seller told me the unit was sent to him but it has a Google account lock on it so he cannot use it. But he told me if I try to bypass the Google account lock and it works I'm good to go? But I need to do a factory wipe reset after that. Should I buy it and put a dbrand screen on like yours? I need your opinion bruh But the price is good thro!

Its tempting but I'd pass because there may be a possibility that you won't be able to bypass whatever barrier is in place. Then your stuck with the device that you can't use and your monies gone. I'm sure the price is solid because he's tryna get it off. I wouldn't do it bro. Let the owner deal with that issue. I'd hate to see you get taken advantage off.

I'm gonna wait until the duo 2 price is like $300+ I really enjoy your duo 2 videos I watch it every day man for real ! Man I want that device so bad my birthday is coming 11 days from now. I'm from Brazil and this phone isn't sold in half the country, but I know what you're saying about multitasking as I have the dual screen LG G8X and LG Velvet which are great multitasking devices.
