Microsoft Surface Headphones 2 - Are they better?

I'm the owner of a pair of Microsoft Surface Headphones. I never thought I'd be into expensive headphones, but when I put them on at a Microsoft Store (when those were a thing), I was blown away at what noise-cancelling headphones could do. Since owning them, my music and games haven't sounded better :-)
Now that I was in need of a second pair of headphones, instead of buying something cheap, I decided to get another pair of Surface headphones. Since then, Microsoft has launched a new version of these, so I wanted to share my thoughts.
I took some time to test these out side by side, listening to the same music on both headphones to offer you my thoughts. I hope you enjoy the video, and thank you for your support of my channel!

To make the 2 better you can change the equalizer

This difference in sound is probs due to a tweak in the EQ that you did on the Surface 1s. Also, especially with Beats headphones, when first listening to music on a new pair of headphones, the sound will be different than after wearing it for a week or so.

If you still have both, can you check if the ear pads are interchangeable between the first and second generation of surface headphones?
