As the project coordinator for 3 projects (channels) Is there a way to view all the task from them in one view? They each use the same bucket naming. This way we can move all out task in the standup without having to bounce around the channels?

Problems with teams: 1. Don't show up in Outlook without a powershell command 2. Can't email a team as a distribution group 3. Replying to a mail in teams by opening the item doesn't add reply in the channel - just goes to the sender. All this can be avoided by making a group first and then turning it into a team. But that comes with its own issues :)

If there are standard tabs that should always be present for Teams, then the product ought to provide those by default, or through Team templates.

Thank you very much for this video. We find we miss posts - is there any talk of linking this tool to the Microsoft Notifications feature so we can see a pop-up and look at a history of posts in the notification bar (Windows 10)?
@superscott1655 жыл бұрын
@Monte Carvalo We do a lot of team discussions and have numerous teams we are following. Any way to help with notifications of a new post in these various teams? The posts are generally not directed at just one person.

The only way that I can add Planner task to a Team is to create a new one inside Team. Where can I go to figure out why I can't select an existing Planner in my Team?

So we are piloting teams (moving from Skype for Business). The concern I have is there is no way to 'folder' teams and channels can't have different membership than the parent team. We do consulting projects and want to include 'guests' on those. It seems I have to create a team for every project and can't group them under a Product Line (i.e. Microsoft CRM Implementations, Dynamics Implementations). That means we'll get a long, long list of a lot of teams rather than a few teams and alot of related channels. Any recommendation on how to organize this? Is microsoft considering letting channels having their own membership?

when i upload a file into teams from sharepoint, does it sync back and forth?
@masterleggat33274 жыл бұрын
If you use the sync button in sharepoint it will use the onedrive app to sync to you local machine, this is not a copy but a live link which will sync with changes made by others. OneDrive keeps 5000 previous versions and Teams sites keeps 500 previous version albeit these can be configured.

Where can a regular user see what Teams are available within the Company ?
@MarkOfWA5 жыл бұрын
Similar to SharePoint, Teams is still too under-developed and still too unstructured for non-tech firms. Microsoft too often introduces new 'business' tools that are in reality development platforms for developers.
