Micosoft is insane if they think they're the future of Nintendo considering how profitable Nintendo is on its own. Also, I would say that BG3 is worth more than all those other games, but what do I know.

My knowledge on this is very limited. But google tells me Nintendo is worth 8-9 trillion $ and Microsoft is worth 2.3 trillion. I do not see Nintendo selling

Roughly a decade ago, I read that Nintendo could lose money every quarter for the next 100 years and would still have enough cash to continue to make new games and consoles. That’s how much cash Nintendo has on hand. I can’t imagine they would need to sell.

They dont need to sell it, issue is that they dont own most of their own stock so microsoft can either buy that stock they dont own or make a offer that will have the stockholders force nintendo hand to sell their company which would still work even with japan anti hostile take over laws
