Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter w/ Android Mobile

A quick review using the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with my Note 3 from Samsung. Note there are minor lags but something that is negligible.

OK guys I figured it out. For the Samsung Users. Try getting a hold of a Microsoft device, laptop computer, whatever. Go to the App Store and update your projector! !!!!!!!

Yes go to settings and and turn off screen rotation will the phone is in the mode you won't it to stay

Does the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter continue to receive youtube video via phone mirroring? Chromecast streams KZbin video directly after it has been casted from the phone. Hence, phone is available for other operations.

With My galaxy s3 the adapter work correctly. With My tablet galaxy tabs 10.5 the adapter doesn't work. Why?

Flavio B. Is your 10.5 running Android 5.x? The Microsoft adapter does not work with Galaxy S6 and apparently most Android 5 devices. Seems to work ok with Android 4. I am returning mine, will have to suffer with Chromecast I guess.

i think any of these adapters work somewhat the same. if youre streaming movies off the net onto your laptop and to your adapter then it also depends if your network can support the streaming. movies stored in your laptop or phone will work fine, it does work with s6 edge

Oke as we can clearly read on the reactions to this video we need HELP! so if u know your device got miracast, what to do next? questions are: how do I update the device if no connection can be achieved? "Microsoft dongle" and which devices need updating and how? my device's: note 3, note 4 and windows 8.1 pro widi certified laptop "asus, samsung"

+Lorenzo Rhino maybe you have a defective one, mine never had an issue connecting, it only got stronger after the update, the update came automatically

check the adapter compatibility requirement, your LG may not support Miracast

your Samsung I believe uses DLNA so you can try that option on the projector by clicking the mode switch one to switch over to DLNA.

+Hien Nguyen Wi-Fi is not necessary but you do need to turn it on since the adapter has its own built in direct Wi-Fi signal
