Normally I sit at the front of computer for almost 7-8 hrs a day. Thanks copilot and windows 365 that help save time. I’m now work 1-2 hrs and have more time all day to do some creative work.

MS 365 Link - Great product. We get on demand limitless scalability. The device could have been smaller in size, like the size of a fire stick looking that it is fanless and should have been offered under $80 of hardware cost + $39 monthly subscription. Or free of cost hardware with a commitment of 1 year subscription to Windows 365. Also it would be great, if there is a 5G SIM slot or eSIM support natively in the device to connect to the internet. And an SD Card slot would be a plus. Definitely, MS needs to innovate more on this. I imagined about this kind of device in 2013, and finally it is coming to the reality, which is great.

It will be free in time. The size is dictated by IT device management requirements. A tray of USB keys would be easily broken or lost. Just surprised they didn't have a combined monitor setup as well as the box. Ultimately, the global internet speed is still not stable or fast enough for these to be true consumer devices.

That's interesting how those solutions work. I am sure many people think this is a hype but managers around world think how to do more or how to reduce staff doing same amount of work. Next ten years will be bumpy, sad for young people, it is going to be harder and harder for them to start a career. For example: nobody will hire a junior software developer to implement "basic" scripts/automation if AI generates everything on the fly.

@bhavtosh5328 exactly, i performed proof of concept of github copilot in my firm and although it makes mistakes, in general, it can generate much of the code correctly, with quick adjustments you can get what you need much much faster. I am surprised why so many developers share less positive opinions. Especially, github copilot from month to month seems to work better. Frankly, i think everyone starting from juniors and ending at senior programming positions wonder how it is going to impact his/her position in the long run and some are scared. Life is brutal and companies that do not adapt to this new reality will lose.

Different kinds of jobs will emerge. These things cannot maintain itself. There should be people maintaining these things. Other important area is prompt engineering. You need to have some imagination (creative thinking) on applying prompts for it to work on multiple scenarios. List goes on and on. Some jobs as we know it may be gone, different jobs will shape up. If jobs are all gone, there is no use for these things because people cannot afford anything as they don't have income. These things make only sense if there are people who can buy stuff (whatever it may be).
