Once its marked as NON-Classified (say by mistake) how do I revert it back & mark it as Classified?

When a classification has been deleted, it will be added back to the recommendation list and user can re-accept it, and basically mark the column as classified again.

Hi, will this effect the database performance, based on the number of columns we used for classification.

Hi, You can classify the columns during non-business hours to avoid blocking or interruption to normal user activity. But we don't anticipate any other performance issue just because the column has been classified.

Hi, once the data is classified in SQL SSMS and we decide to move to Azure, will the migration auto add the already classified data to Azure? Or do we need to start all over again?

Hi, classifications will also be propagated to azure database as part of the migration.

1) Any information around pricing? 2) In video, I saw a screen where you displayed screen to select Database, Schema, Table,... Does that mean these are displaying all the SQL Objects in my SQL Database within my subscription Do I need to to be TENANT admin to perform this tasks

Data classification is part of ADS (Advanced Data Security) package. The cost of ADS is aligned with Azure Security Center standard tier pricing per node, where a node is the entire SQL Database server or managed instance. You are thus paying only once for protecting all databases on the database server or managed instance with ADS. All the SQL objects in your subscription are covered when using ADS and data classification can be applied to all of them.
