This episode is perfect timing Heike. We had one of these just last week and are now rolling out Defend on mobile devices for its web filtering capability.

Great episode on an important topic. User education is always the best defense, but user trust in IT deteriorates when these attacks make it past the EOP/MDO scanners. I see Brandon said: "Our QR Code detection extracts the URL from the QR code and flows it through the regular post-breach experience, including explorer." Can you clarify if this QR code detection & detonation is happening today in MDO, or if this is coming? If it is here today, where can we see this in MDO/Explorer?

At 13:52 Brandon mentions that there is Microsoft blog post by one of Microsoft's experts about creating a QR-code blocker, and the link might be attached. Is there any more detail on whose blog this is, or a link to the described blog?

Would be nice to actually provide details on how to implement a policy to protect our firm from QR code attacks which is the most important detail that was missed. MS Defender is difficult to navigate and the documentation for it leaves much to be desired

Thanks for the session but is there a way to get a report of how much emails with QR codes are getting delivered and how many are getting blocked through O365 or advanced hunting queries apart from creating every scenario specific regex for the QR image file name?

I am not sure why the guy is talking so much rather showing a demo on it. Looks like providing marketing lecture.
