Got mine last week. Same situation. I have another UTX-85 I bought as a compromise because I missed the BH run before and resigned to the fact I’d never get one without paying crazy secondary money. Then PVK listed them as coming and I instantly grabbed one and absolutely love it. PVK also shipped it earlier than expected which was great.

This is literally the only OTF I have ever wanted. My first ever pocket knife as a child (a fieldmaster SAK) I actually painted green, red, and yellow with the mythosaur signet on one side and “as you wish” in the Mandalorian alphabet on the other... finish eventually word off in my backpack lol, but it matched my favorite pair of converse that I customized in the same way (sharpie’d the toecaps). My 12 year old self would be throwing her savings at this 😅

Like you, Connie was after this model for awhile. Finally scored her a Ultratech version, which she was not content with. It had to be an 85 lol. They are appealing to the mando fans, no doubt. I think they are ok, but if she wasn't apart of my life, I'd never own one. Give me a good ole plain edge drop point, and I'm a happy camper ;D Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it!

I just bought the same knife waiting for it to come , it looks awesome I love the belly in the Tanto blade ,I also have a Troodon in black with full serrated double edge , and recently got a UTX-85 SE apocalyptic finish in Distressed red , It funny you said the bounty hunter was easy to open and I believe because it is a distressed finish so I think Microtech makes the whole knife distressed even the action , I also noticed the deploy button is a little loose like it’s broken in , The distressed model is much easier and more comfortable to deploy vs the Troodon

I have an ultratech bounty hunter that I keep as a "grail" knife and it's even better cause I'm a mega fan of star wars, it's a pretty sweet knife hopefully one day I won't be scared to carry it. Also remember a mandolorian isn't a culture it's a creed, so disney to buzz off 😉

microtech's been very inconsistent with their spring tension.. had two broken springs in two month on two utx 70 as well

Extremely curious as to how you know its 204-P steel, I reached out to Microtech with my serial number and they couldn't even tell me. Nowhere on the box, nor website, nowhere.

@@SliceyDicey When I ordered my normal Orange T/E Ultratech, their website said 204P though it came in and was M390. Just nitpicking, but I'm fairly sure their site isn't 100% accurate. Let alone on information that Microtech couldn't even provide me with a serial number.

I just got this knife from blade hq and it's my first microtech. The bottom of the clip does not touch the knife scale and seems loose in my pocket cause of that. Is that normal on microtech or should I send it back for a replacement?

That's a sore subject. I had a TON. Two X-Wings, Two Tie Fighters, a Falcon, a Y WIng probably a squad of stormtroopers and all the important characters. I went off to the Air Force and my mother sold them and all my GI Joe's (I had just as many of those) at a yard sale for like $100 and thought I'd be SOOOOOO happy to get $100. I didn't speak to her for a week.

In Denmark the mandalorian will come out officially the 15th this month. In Denmark we have seen meme's that we don't understand like baby Yoda and mythasauer. Finally it is here legal. Great knives bud. If only otf's were legal in Denmark

The Bounty Hunters themselves aren't really worth reviewing. It's just an aesthetic upgrade. But I NEED a Hellhound. Maybe not a COMBAT Troodon though. That's a bit large.
