Hello friends, one question if my magnetron has continuity that means it's good or bad, please me understand, I checked for continuity at the blades connection and sure enough I have continuity, but I don't know what that means, thanks in advance...

So my microwave runs fine except it doesn't heat food. It makes the loud buzzing noise when you turn it on. My magnetron and diode test good according to these repair clinic videos. So what else could be the issue??

same problem. First, the fuse broken, but when i replace, the fuse not broke and the magnetron sounds too rare...and not heating...but i check all elements and all its good... (diode, capacitor, transformer... the only thing that i dont know its the exact functionality of the magnetron, and they have continuity....

Hello my friend, one question, he said if it has continuity the 2 prongs that means it's good magnetron, I also read an article where it said to check the magnets for any damage and yes one of them it's broken, that tells me it's bad, but I do not get it why is still continuity at the pins, hopefully you help me understand. Thanks in advance.

@@LuisMartinez-fr9gq I change the magnetron, and all works well. The old magnetron have a small derivation to shell (40-60 ohms) and maybe that was the problem... Heats better than the last days with the old mgnetron. (the old magnetron have more than 15years old)

Hello friend thanks for replying, an old magnetron it's doing better work, perhaps it's better quality, good for you, I want to do the same, when you buy yours do you have to match all series numbers or just the first 2 series, I checked on ebay they have some used ones, I am wondering if I can use one of them that only match the first two series. For instance, 2m213---09b, the other two series are different, my has c06l---100970, but I can not find a part that matches all series just the first two, any thoughts my friend, thanks.

Hello my friend, thanks for replying, the older part it's doing a better job, perhaps the part was better quality, good for you. My friend I want to buy one from eBay they have used ones, the only thing is they do not match the four series on my part only the first two series, for instance, my is 2m213---09b, c06l---1000970, I only see the first two series good for me on those used ones, and it doesn't match the bottom numbers, do you think it will work, any thoughts my friend, thanks.

I checked magnetron its showing 0.2 ohm it good or not
@mariocastro123910 ай бұрын
It is good, anything higher than 5 ohms basically reduces the amount of current that can flow through it and make it not work properly. Another test they forgot to mention here is to test both leads to the case (one at at time)
