I bought this 1 bowl from dmart, and used to reheat a curry, it took 15 min to reheat well, and tried to reheat same quantity curry with a glass bowl it took 2 minutes to reheat well, So in my opinion this steel plastic bowl are worst, In place of these bowls we can use bpa free microwave safe plastic bowls to reheat the food well with in less time.

How many minutes maximum we can set to reheat the food? Did you experiment on that? Can we set 10 mins on high for reheating?

These bowls are used to keep the food hot for longer time. Since, it does not allows the inner food to heat fast, similarly it will not allow the food to cool fast as well. Microwave safe is an added feature for these bowls (not its primary purpose). Metal can never be transparent to microwaves. The microwaves enter only from the top portion of the bowl, hence it takes longer than plastic containers for heating.

I saw Amazon, but not sure, because there are people who have kept these bowls for 15 mnts in microwave 😮. These pots seems to be for just re-heating purpose, not for baking purpose. Reheating is for 1-2 mnts only. Any kind of plastic can't stand for more than 5 mnts continously. This is my thought.
