*The Sawed off Shotgun, Frommer Stop Auto, P08 Artillery, M1911 Extended, Pieper M1893, and C96 Carbine need to be available to regular infantry as primary weapons* (having them as secondary weapons in addition to a normal primary weapon would be a bit OP.) Most of these would probably be underpowered as primary weapons, but it would increase the selection of weapons available in the game. Dice could even add special challenges to each of them, make them class specific (such as the Frommer Stop Auto only being available in the Assault class), give them unique skins, and give them further customization options. These special weapons could fill a similar role to that of the Selbstlader M1916, a generally underpowered rifle that is incredibly hard to use, but extremely rewarding in the right hands. Guns like this offer a challenge to some of the more skilled players, and generally make the battlefield a more interesting place to be.

That is also an option. Giving everyone access to the tanker and pilot classes without spawning in would be cool, but I feel they don't offer enough of an advantage. People would be more likely to use the weapons if they could pair them with one of the 4 main classes. Then again, the pilot and tanker classes could be tweaked to offer some interesting gameplay opportunities even when not in a tank or plane. Maybe pilots could have a perk that buffs the use of a mounted AA cannon, and tank commanders could have some kind of sabotage ability if they manage to get in close to a tank.

Fun fact: when the enemy is in a knife kill animation, they are invincible for the duration. Since you shot him during the animation, the shot did no damage. Kinda sucks but that's Dice for ya.

Well said man 👍 I found BF1's score to be one of the best I've heard in some time, really rousing, glorious and often beautiful. Not that BFV didn't have some great pieces, but most of the time I just found it way too somber - I don't think it suited multiplayer, it seemed to drip sadness all over the experience.
