*NOTE: This is inspired from Mango Muffin's comment of doing a "Crash Story"* 1:40 January 30th 1942 Luftwaffe Division 8 is flying over the french alps bringing aid to the german soldiers fighting the allies in WW2, on board there are munitions, a prototype of germany's new invention "the atom bomb" (german scientists 1st discovered the power of the atom and there was a prototype that was never used) during this time, british spies were in germany to bring down reinforcements, at this time out of the 17 people on board (4 main pilots including the captain, 1st officer, flight engineer, and flight navigator, 3 german officers, 7 guards, 2 members of the german pres, and 1 english spy that was supposed to be the 8th guard that snuck on board.) the plane has been flying for 5 hours and the british spy makes his move, he goes to the atom bomb and defuses it, a guard said "what are you doing?" and the british spy said "well we don't want this exploding on us so i'm transferring the energy to this battery. he then stuffs it in what he said was a compartment but was actually a vent leading inside of the hull of the wing. the british spy found a parachute and walked over back to the battery, he pressed a timed button that would explode the battery. he puts on the parachute and the 6th guard, the only guy with a gun on board realises that this was a spy and tries to kill the british spy but its too late. he opens the window and a few seconds later... BOOM! the wing goes inside of the hull and fire goes around the plane, nearly everybody is instantly killed except the 4 pilots, the navigator goes out to inspect but quickly gets burned alive. the 3 pilots try to get the plane down before the munitions explode, they see the wing go by and the 3 pilots realise that it's too late, a second explosion occurs ripping out the side of the hull and sucking out the 1st officer getting chopped in the engine. the flight engineer is also burning while the captain realises that they have no control. a 3rd explosion and the captain is knocked unconscious and burned alive too. at this point everybody in the plane is dead and it is just a fireball going to earth as the british spy looks at his successful sabotage. the plane rolls to its side and smashes into the earth at half the speed of sound. today the wreck is covered by snow and they are still looking for it to this day. 16 people are killed and the only survivor is the british spy. that not only sabotaged the reinforcement but also took necessary intel too. the war would end in 1945

0:57 I read another comment just like this about American Airlines flight 14 and thought it was awesome so here we go KLM airlines flight 475 Lessines, Belgium. 1965 1:55 P.M KLM flight 475 was on a multi daily flight from Amsterdam to Paris, stopping in Antwerpen Belgium. Captaining the plane is 47 year old Daan Janson who has over 4,837 flight hours, only having recently been transferred to the 727, having 12 flight hours in it. The first officer is Anna Fokker, being related to Anthony Fokker, she felt she had to be a pilot, having over 839 flight hours, 752 of which were in the 727. Right after leaving Antwerpen, the back of the plane explodes, and bursts into flames, and slams into the Belgian countryside leaving just 3 survivors out of 149, not including the first officer and captain. The R.L (Raad voor de Luchtvaart), teamed up with the D.T (Direction générale du Transport aérien), and the Direction générale de l'aviation civile, round the crash site and began Investigating the scene. The black box had been under burning wreckage for 1:30 minutes, destroying the black box. Now that one of their biggest pieces of information was gone, they had to examine the wreckage for clues. After reconstructing the aircraft on a metal frame, investigators begin looking for clues. One investigator finds holes from the wreckage pointing outwards, meaning the explosion came from within the fuselage. The areas around the holes are tested for TNT. It’s confirmed the the explosion was either a bomb, or a missile. Investors looked to the exact opposite side of the fuselage, and found holes pointing outwards aswell, confirming that it was a bomb, but who detonated it? Of course many groups claimed fault, but those were pushed aside. Taking a closer look at the crash site, on top of a mountain, a black piece of burnt plastic was found. It was brought back and tested with other bomb types, so, now investigators knew that it was a cheap plastic bomb. Investigators looked for tension between countries involved with the flight. It was quickly assumed that it was a bomb made from the Congo, with The Congo Crisis Supporting the idea. Investigators begin looking at the passengers on the flight and sure enough, a man by the name of Jean Kasongo, from The Congo. What baffled investigators was that he didn’t have a criminal history, he was not part of a group. But investigators had their answers for the cause of the crash, and later that year, the Congo crisis was over, and that crash remains a tragedy in the minds of Belgian, French and Dutch people to this day.

@JustSiberia Edit: all passengers died instantly because of either the plane impacting the ground at 391 knots, the missile hitting the plane and exploding, and dying due to falling 27k feet from the sky. The pilots's bodies have been reported to be "completly unrecognizeable, looks more like beat up charred chicked than an actual human body," as said by an investigator at the site, this "burnt up charred chicken" state has also been reported for most passengers lucky enough to not get sucked out of the plane due to decompression.

The date when it took off was December 30th, 1973. 2:10 AM. Somewhere above Nevada, specifically a town, (the town name is unknown to this day) a baggage bomb planted by a Libyan terrorist detonated, causing the tail-mounted engine to explode, which in turn removed many flight controls. Shortly after that, the plane lost hydraulics and entered a nose dive into the town that was previously mentioned. It stayed like that until it impacted a mall in the central part of the town, killing all 93 souls on board. Since a few months, terrorist attacks have striked 2 KLM 737-800s, without casualities. Due to the bankrupt the company is facing, the flight are forced to fly even in this dangerous situation. The captain is [CLASSIFIED] and has up to 20.721 flight hours, around 3.189 on the MD-11. The FO is [CLASSIFIED] and has 7.837 flight hours, and around 1.038 on the MD-11. CPT: KLM 7381, Heavy, uhh.. requesting to climb to FL270 London ARTCC: KLM 7381, Heavy, cleared to climb to FL270. FO: Woop, looks like its gonna be a bumpy ride, We shall put the seatbelts on sign. This decision would save the lives of some passengers. Around this time, a barometrically triggered bomb explodes on the plane, splitting the right wing and the entire tail section off the aircraft, causing it to go into a flatspin before crashing near London, over an area that the aircraft was supposed to fly above. However, the flatspin made the impact less deadly, and 7 passengers survived.

At 2:30 PM Asian Airlines 2237 Takes off on Runway 11 Left The Airplane was flying okay over the Mountains in Malaysia Until at 2:57 Pm Asian Airlines flight 2237 is flying at 11,374 Feet But then, flight 2237 has an explosion right behind the Co-Pilot seat behind the Cockpit The Cabins floor collapses Then, an explosion over in the back of the Cabin occurs The tail then falls and the Airplane is starting to fall apart and free fall At this point, there’s nothing to do and the situation is hopeless The plane soon crashes and breaks apart on impact. All 210 passengers, 4 crew, and 2 Pilots are dead Investigators investigate and find out that a electrical malfunction occurred when a wire malfunctioned and exploded. (plane explodes, recording ends) The aircraft broke up mid-air when Adhmaha Puriakbar put a bomb, to make insurance for his death to his family and the Derry Transport Safety Board (DTSB) known that the cause was terrorist bombing, no one survived. Todays flight will take 1 hour and 29 minutes, Onboard is Captain Janson Hartfield, Copilot Sanskrit Martain, and flight engineer Nordic Hatt. 78 passengers are onboard today including a man named Stevens Dann, He comes from London and moved to Amsterdam just 7 days ago. he had a bomb that he hid in a briefcase. at 10 :58 the plane departs from Amsterdam. time: 11 :12 the plane has reached cruising altitude. Dann makes his move, he punches the F/A and causes commotion in the cabin. Dann moves into the lavatory and plants his bomb. time: 11 :15 the bomb detonates and rips off the tail section of the aircraft killing 21 instantly. the plane fell into a nosedive causing stress on the aircraft, the left wing breaks but does not fall off until later, the plane burns and kills an additional 19 including Flight engineer Nordic Hatt. time: 11 :16 the plane crashes into the ground at 532 MPH. No one survived..

The aircraft was an AN-25 (I think) over the mountain ranges in green grass airspace, 1 hour after stopover, a bomb exploded in the tail area. The bomb wasn’t meant to explode mid flight. The captain was retiring after the flight. He was 72 and he was named Tony Maverick. He had over 50,000 flight hours, all of which in the AN-25. The copilot was Benny Superhog. He was a new 1st officer to the company and was 21. He had only 100 flight hours, all only on the airbus A320. Back to the story, Copilot Tony: “PULL UP” Captain tony: “NO NO NO NO NO” ATC: “Flight 5 are you ok?” Both pilots: “No! This is fl-“ **BANG** The aircraft slammed into the ground, leaving all 2 animals, and 2 crew members, dead. The criminal who made the bomb (that wasn’t supposed to go off mid flight) claimed that he was getting it shipped to a museum. But it was activated by an escaped gorila going to a zoo.

Mid air break up's with wing's are terrifying because this is what you might hear or probably will: "Sink rate 3x" "Bank angle 3x" until mid air break-up, not to mention "Over-speed added with all of those is terrifying.
