How did you hide the screws after you glued the two tops together? Unless that was the bottom part???

Finaly found a project similar to what I am planing to build. I have a question, hope you can answer. I see you used screws to atach the table top. I've been told that it's wrong that I should use brakets or 8-shape washer, or somethjing else, but not screw the legs directly into the table top. Obviously you did. What is your reasoning behind using screws. BTW, table is beautiful.

I’m no expert, but I think that’s a bigger deal with tabletops made from jointed dimensional lumber. Since plywood has layers with grain turned perpendicular to each other, it doesn’t expand and contract as much.

All around under $200, which included glue and screws. Doesn’t include tools Ofcourse.

Because I like the look of the laminated wood! But would also look good covered too!
