I love your big $$ items videos! I think this is the dream of all resellers. Most of the big ticket items you find we’d never guess were so valuable. Now I look at things I never would have even noticed before. Now each time I head out I’m hoping to find that once in a lifetime find.

I’m right now redoing a console am/fm reel to reel and turntable it’s a under taking lol And thanks Kat I seriously appreciate everything you tell us and you seem to keep your prices better I think some go to cheap what do you think?

Mid 1940s to late 1960s is considered mcm. I think some do go too low but I see alot trying to price too high as well I think research is key

Those prices were insane. But then, you have proven in past videos that people pay really good money for the oddest items. I would love the lower price videos. Victorian, Art Deco anything old is what I'm interested in. Thanks Kat!

Just yesterday found a pristine 60s tufted gold velour wicker backed foyer wooden bench for $40 at g-sale, comps in $1000-2000 range. I find lots of MCM stuff, mirrors, lamps, regency stuff, sculptures, furniture, screens, ceramic, etc. It's a great niche for items you can consistently find items cheap and get large profits on.

It’s hard to tell when handmade things are valuable since you can’t really have comps. I see those granny square blankets daily at the thrift. So I’m guessing it’s about condition and colorfulness.

Great Video. I recently picked up a bunch of fantastic monkey pod mid century modern trays and fruit bowls but there is not much movement. Does it make a difference if you list as MCM or spell out mid century modern? any other suggestions to get more eyes on them?

Would it be possible to say the date you are showing each video? I am fairly new to watching you and love all of your information! However, when you say you’ll be doing another video on a certain day of the week…I’m not even sure when that will be. The videos might say 2 months ago…or you might say Happy Thanksgiving and I’m watching in the summer 😁 I will keep watching! I’m in Washington state, 10 minutes from Portland, OR.
@TheNurseFlipper3 ай бұрын
So I have over 1000 videos already. Underneath the video it says the date it came out and I believe you can sort by newest or oldest first as well. I record several in a day so I'm never sure which day they'll come out so I don't want to say a date as I don't know

Hi Kat. Hoping you can help me... I've listed a set of mid-century chairs and a mid-century sofa on eBay last night and got an offer on both at 100.00 over asking just this morning. I clicked on the buyer for each and it's the same person, but they have different accounts (they wrote the same thing and same phone number on these accounts). The delivery location is in AL, but in different cities. My 2 questions to you are: 1. how do I know this is a legit buyer and 2. what's the best way to ship these items -- PS I added 800.00 to ship the sofa and 500.00 to ship the set of chairs -- I'm suspicious because who would pay that much in shipping for these items - as nice as they are! I so appreciate the help!
@TheNurseFlipper2 ай бұрын
I use uship to ship all my freight items. If AL isn't far from you it shouldn't be too expensive. To know if they're real I would say just see if they pay LOL :D

I think the Fantasia floor lamp is a newer product that was made to look 1970s. I believe they didn't come out with fiber optic products until the 1990s. I never saw or heard of it in the 1970s.

That's not true. My Grandmother had a fiberoptic thing that sort of looked like a fountain on her tv when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s. I will see if I can find a pic of it online. Drat can't attach in here? What she had was a smaller version of the lamp shown here. It was there all through my childhood and I used to beg her to turn it on..
