Hey Paulie What boots are you using in this video. They look like some type of slip on rubber sole? Most of my fishing is on beach sand. Looking for something that can slip on and off easier. sizing?
@GetReelBassFishing9 ай бұрын
I wear a 12 normally in my every day shoes- the boots I’m wearing are my old huk boots that split and cracked, so now I use them for my “in sand” boot for my FroggToggs waders. Idk how they’ll fit as far as sizing with other stocking foot waders, but I know with these FroggToggs, they fit just fine- just like I’m wearing an extra fluffy wool sock in my normal size 12 boots.
@fixitkev19669 ай бұрын
@@GetReelBassFishing I switched to stocking foot waders and corkers in the fall. A lot of work getting set up. Hard to tie them tight. Once wet they usually needed adjustment. Wish they had a ratcheting system. Or I wish the lacing system was designed better. Gonna find some dive type shoe or soft wader shoe. Saw your shoes and figured you’d be the guy to ask. You should do a review on that topic. I fish on the sand. No real need for heavy boots. I couldn’t find a video reviewing wader shoe alternatives. I did find a bunch of options for sale. Just a thought for your content…..

I have always preferred night striper fishing. When casting artificials at night, I use a barrel swivel at the top of my shock leader that will not pass through the top eye of the rod. I also mark the rod at 28" ( or whatever the legal limit might be) so I don't have to fumble with a ruler or tape measure. Good vid, keep em coming.
@Dan120779 ай бұрын
Great way to break the ceramic insert on your top guide using a barrel swivel, especially at night! There's going to be times when u accidentally reel up too far and BANG, swivel against insert!! Metal's harder than ceramic 😑

This isn't a spot burn. Its a State Park. People have been fishing this "spot" for 60+ years. Its no secret. Its like saying anywhere off the beach at a State Park in Montauk is a secret. Please. The poachers are the problem. Not some guy fishing under a bridge in a heavily populated area at a State Park. If you see its crowded you got miles and miles of beach at your back. Here is a spot burn.....Bass and blues are up and down the east coast. They like open beaches, inlets, back bays and under bridges. Good luck

Dude why do feel the need to exploit a spot like this,its ridiculous man really and for what more likes on your page ??? you are not helping anybody become a better fisherman by doing this all your doing is giving real time information to the many googans who troll your page waiting to see when you will put a video telling them when and where the fish are.Let them figure that out themselves when and where the fish are let them put there boots on the ground at 1am or 1pm, put there time in and earn that information.Im starting to see why alot of fisherman are very bitter towards you
