I been following for a good minute and decided to follow your system for cutting. I love it! My cuts/fades have been smoother/blurry. Guys can’t believe when I tell them I’m 4 months in the fading game. Had to switch from a beauty salon to a barbershop 💈 and I loooooove it! Love from Longview, Texas!

I’ve been cutting for like 10 months and I notice a huge difference in my work. But just curious how long will it take to get to this level ? Sometimes I feel like I’m stuck and not improving anymore.

we are on the same boat dude, i'm just a year and a month, I always ask my senior barber every day on what could done better after I finish a haircut

@@Tommygimbal I feel like I need to be in a shop surrounded by top tier barbers who can teach me how to improve. The people I work with are great, but I get the feeling they don’t want to strive like I want to. I watch and learn a lot from videos, but I learn better hands on. I’ve gained a lot of clientele, so I don’t want to leave my shop and start over. I’m in a pickle rn

Just wondering Marty, following your steps I feel like you are doing some steps twice, or at least not taking a very efficient approach. Especially with the 1.5 and 0 open sections. Just wondering what your thought process is like a little more in depth (or like a video on different fading systems and which one you use in which situation)

Clean blend but one thing I hate and can’t stand if your doing a bald fade and charging a 💯 should be putting a real razor against the the grain in 2 days that fade ain’t worth nothing, electric shavers never get the same result as a real razor against the grain fade last for a extra two days
