That is a very subtle yet comprehensive re-thinking of two iconic Ford platforms! And agreed; for the price it was a value purchase for this lucky buyer. May they enjoy it and drive it. Guaranteed it will be the only one at your local Show n Shine!

They sure did, I would assume just the engine and trans are worth a lot

The Mach40 from Eckerts Rod and custom is somewhat similar and was $1,000,000 build

I absolutely LOVE this, great idea and excellent execution, only thing i see i would change just from this short video is the rear wheel fitment in the wheel house. Made that sn dash look like it was made to be in there

Work of art. Transaxel issues ?
@dingusflingus2 күн бұрын
Probably no issues if they used a gt40 transaxle

Yawn… Crown Mfg. began offering mid-engine V8 Corvairs and conversion kits in 1967. 350cui. 350hp small block with 355 diff. and 4spd CorV8s were going 12.22 at 105 and 11.06 at 122 (customer built vs Crown built). The Big Block CorV8s were going 10.0 AND either small block or Big Block they were pulling nearly 1g on the skidpad in the ‘60’s!

Can I already call this a Mach GT1? 😅
@jalopy_jeff5 күн бұрын
I’d say so! Or even Ford Mustang Mach GT
@Roddy_Zeh5 күн бұрын
@jalopy_jeff I was even tempted to call it Mach GT41 or even Mach GT40-1, but since the modern GT40 is named just GT 'cause it's no longer 40 inches tall, I was like "okay, GT1 it is!" 👏🏻🤣

Back in 1970 Ford actually made a 70 Mustang Fastback with a mid-engine and C6 and transaxle. Look it up.
