One of very few barbers to really emphasize pressure and using half guard open as #1 👏 🔥

By far my favorite tutorial yet. Definitely my biggest struggle is pressure. The 45 degree angle tip is very useful. Will keep it in mind going forward. Thanks bro!

@@exqvision next haircut try apply slight pressure throughout the full haircut. If it’s not cutting, close the lever or size down on the guard but keep slight pressure throughout the cut 🙏🏽

@@JosCutswill do. That's Definitely a gem few barbers actually talk about. And it’s really crucial to master. Id love to see tutorial on most common mistakes barbers make. Nonetheless keep sharing the knowledge. Salute bro👏🏽🙌🏽

This video Is essential bro 🔥 I’m going to apply no pressure in the shop! Can’t wait 🅿️ it’s crazy, while I cut I’m applying excessive amount of pressure to remove lines that could be avoided all together

Your the best! Better than all those half assed barbers, keeping secrets and not telling it all. I subscribed when you first started on Instagram. So happy i did.

Man you explained better than a lot of barbers that’s done this and make content on cutting 💯🔥 thank you🙏 immma deff try

Thanks for explaining in good detail about pressure. I never thought about applying light/hard pressure. I was to focus about flicking the clipper motion. Now I just want to go straight to the shop or cutting my twin boys hair and applying this technique ASAP! Definitely one of my favorites videos you have done.

What blades do you have on your clippers?? What blade do you use first? The fade blade and the taper blade or taper blades first and then fade blade?
@JosCuts2 ай бұрын
When I first started I used the stock blade on the senior. Then I started using the stagger tooth blade on the magic clip. I personally like the senior blade better, but the stagger tooth blade does help with blending in my opinion

Should we flick out when creating guidelines or should we instead keep it at 45 degrees? Also same question for taking out the guidelines?
@JosCuts2 ай бұрын
Maintain the 45 degree angle as the clipper is going up towards the line you want to create/erase and once you’re there you start flicking out 🙏🏽

Do you start with your clippers flat then go into 45 degree angle?
@JosCuts2 ай бұрын
@@FadedByHaris most of the time no, I keep my clipper 45 degrees and I go up while maintaining that angle. Sometimes I do put my clipper flat and flick out to the 45 degree angle. But honestly whatever works for you , you should definitely try both out 🙏🏽

I WIN JOS. I counted every single PRESSURE WORD. You said it 47 times from beginning to end. Itll be 48 if you count the half stutter in the beginning of the video at about 44-46 seconds. But its 47 if you dont count that. :D
