A lot of what has to do with the size of the grids I'd say is how much traffic they get and what sort of traffic they get. I know there's some really small grids in my RM because they only see a dozen vehicles in a year and then they have some grids bigger than our highway because they get lots of traffic and lots of machinery on it as well. It doesn't all just come down to the RM deciding how wide they want their roads; it's more of how to best allocate the resources for those roads.

I got a question Mike. How long do you run the drills before trading? I’m guessing you can rebuild/replace the wear items and run them quite a while?
@robertd2593 жыл бұрын
Safety Suggestion: Save your hands. When checking for heat (i.e. wheel hubs) and a temperature gauge is not available, it is safer to use the back of your hand then your fingers or palm. The back of your hand is more sensitive and may detect hot surfaces without contact. This can save the working surfaces, and often less sensitive skin. This advice comes from RCN firefighting training. Thank you for showing the real life of operating a modern farm.

As where I dislike the way the r series thinks about what it's doing for a second before it shifts. I really don't care for the way the cats and steigers shift super hard. Especially if your trying to use their electric clutches backing up to something. Always felt like it was an all or nothing. And I do like the way you can put it in gear with an ivy and hit the brake with no clutch and stop all the way. Makes it really nice backing up to something. Safer too.
