Mid Suffolk Light Railway "Light Railway Gala" 11/09/16

With all 4 of the "Middy's" Steam locomotives in operation plus some visiting Miniature railways, Traction and Roller Engines made a superb gala, one of the best days of the year for visiting the railway.
The 4 standard engines were:
LNER class Y7 no. 985
Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST w/no. 1700 "Wissington"
Bagnall 0-4-0ST w/no. 2565
Cockerill 0-4-0VBWT w/no. 2525.
The 2 visiting engines were
5 inch "Madge"
7 1/4 inch "Loch Rannoch"

Beautiful been trying to visit here for 10 years Still not made it need to learn how to drive it's not easy to get to from Essex

great video. im kicking myself that i missed this one planned to go twice this year and both time other stuff has come up.do you know if they are having any luck with extending the line i heard they was looking into it?

Thanks and as far as I'm aware the line isn't being extended as the track bed hasn't been cleared but there may be plans, yet to be announced

Thanks, Yes it was sunny so lots of people attended, the ice creams nearly ran out!

No im afraid not, my poor driving let it down, plus im a bit camera shy, but the clip might make it into the "best of 2016" video and thanks I edit quickly.
