Mid Week Deer Hunt

Great view love it. I saw a small buck and a doe yesterday afternoon and I saw 3 does this afternoon. I've seen at least 8 deer this rifle season between opening day and this afternoon/evening. Haven't tipped anything over yet though.

Hunted 8 days straight Nov 4-11 and saw lots of does, but did not have a doe tag. On my last day Remembrance Day shot a spike buck about 200lbs. Spent a total of about 40 hours in my stand, it was hard but worth it. Good luck lady.

Got a really nice nine pointer on memorial day now I’m working on getting my three does we’re allowed for deer here in Kentucky but all I’m seeing are bucks had to pass on three deer in the last two days

We were working in bar harbor on Wednesday and had 2 big bucks chasing a doe run by me about 20 feet away lol. To bad we can’t hunt on there lol

My buddy dumped a nice doe today. He had a tag for our zone and it was our camp’s first Maine doe! Close to 30 years! Hopefully the rest of us can connect.

Get a scent drip per load it up with some buck tarsal scent from “Northwoods Common Scents” and put it in area you have big primary scrapes or area yr after yr there’s always scrapes in same place. You’ll find bucks will hit it often last week in Oct through second week of nov. Give ya a better chance especially in the big woods!!!

I never liked deer huntin in the wind....I used to head for a big cutoff and find a nice spot and sit tucked in. Good luck on the next hunt girl. Keep ya nose warm!! 🦌

That is some beautiful woods you are hunting. Don't over look the Adjustable Bleat call. I tagged out tonight with a very nice 3 1/2 year old 7 point that came in on a string to some doe in estrus bleats. You'll be successful I know it!

Fox squirrels are cool. They realize quickly that they aren't being hunted and carry on about their business. Grey squirrels are PARANOID! They will bark at you for an hour or more! I say this and I let a young gray squirrel raid my bird feeders because it's small.
