What the river knows has such a pretty cover! I received Icebreaker and Wildfire for christmas and I still haven't gotten around to them!! Those "That time I got drunk and..." books look like so much fun!!!

Icebreaker and Wildfire is so cute! ☺️ and the Mead Mishaps series is a must for a cute little book to read.

I absolutely loved a study in drowning, one if my favourite books of last year! It's the kinda book that reached me at the right time. It has a great feminist and societal criticism undertone so that the story is always more about the main character's journey to self empowerment and vulnerability than it is fantastical, so don't go into thinking it'll be ninth house esque it's much more focused on the main character's story. So ya, I definitely think you should read it 😊 although I'd personally wait til October/November 😂

I love this! I much prefer a female self empowerment story. I'm not a huge fan of Ninth House, the non-linear narrative was driving my nuts and made it hard for me to get in to the world. I will finish it at one stage. I will save A Study in Drowning for October reading vlog. Thank you!

If you haven't read it already, I highly highly highlyyyyyy recommend reading Guarded Treasure by Mae Lovette it's my current read!!! It's the Mummy movie but as a book! I'm loving it!
