As an avid reader, I am constantly looking for book recommendations. One of my favorite things to watch is book reviews. And so, I bring you today's bookish video, the midyear book freakout tag. This is a bookish tag/challenge where I talk about anticipated book releases, favorite books and most disappointing books of the year so far. These books have been getting a lot of hype and buzz and I hope I love them.

Ballard makes my 'crush' list as well for exactly the reasons you listed! Absolutely adored him and the book. My most anticipated release for the rest of this year is A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by by Sangu Mandanna.

I also need to film my mid year book tag! It is so nice to see and reflect on the reads from the beginning of the year. I really want to read Emily’s wide encyclopedia of fairies 🧚‍♀️ I also want to read the Thursday murder club, I think it would be a nice series to read with my grandma 😂 I read the reappearance of Rachel price, and it was really fun, so highly recommend! My favorite book of the year is a psalm for the wild build 🌷 I hope you will be able to reach 1000 subscribers very soon I just found your channel, and can’t wait for more videos 💖
