ahh i loved this video so much!! love hearing people’s favorites. re: books: i who have never known men is a favorite for me too!! i am so mad at myself bc i missed my hold for welcome to the hynam-dong book shop..so i need to put my hold back on for it bc it sounds like something i would absolutely love. tom lake is also one i’ve been meaning to read!! might have to give it a go this summer re: tv: i still need to finish baby reindeer…it’s so good but oof got to a part that’s really tough but i do want to finish! & i’ve never watched derry girls but lately i’ve been thinking about starting & you’ve convinced meeeeee re: music: I AM ALSO LATE ON THE CHAPPELL ROAN TRAIN BUT SO HAPPY TO BE HERE NOW. seeing her live was the best time too 😭 re: skincare: i finished my moisturizer & bought the dynasty cream and i am loving it. this has worked soooo well for my dry skin so thanks for the recco!!! also welcome to the baggu world girly!!!!!! it’s my fav place 😂

Yes to all of these btw! Completely get you re baby reindeer it’s very heavy stuff 😢 - you NEED to watch Derry girls! It’s so funny. Ugh I’m so jealous you got to see Chappell live! All here shows are sold out over here so I’m just hoping I can get a resale last min. So glad you love the dynasty cream too, it’s probably the most hydrating moisturiser I’ve used that doesn’t leave the skin oily! 🥰

I was so sad with her reaction! I followed the monthly calendars religiously, bought merch & even did a few paid live zoom classes. So I was quite shocking to see her response to a simple question regarding something to important. She is still to this day deleting comments from her posts that mention it, and someone told me she deleted ‘ally’ from her bio and deleted an instagram highlight called ‘allyship’. Super disappointing because I had so much respect for her. But I suppose it’s business first for her.

Oooh corking selection of books. Coco was fab, I was addicted to I Who Have Never Known Men and devoured it in two sittings. Incredible. I’ve still not read any Joan Didion and I really want to. Nathan’s Nook raves about her. Challengers became my personality. I saw it four times at the cinema. Banging music pics 💃🏻🪩 Another shout out, he’s deceased again. With your love of Didion and Bagu I think you’d love Nathan’s Nook!

Do you listen to This American Life? I would recommend that. They usually have a theme every week and there generally are a few different segments related to the theme. It's informative, funny, serious and interesting.

For tv show, I really think you should watch the interview with the vampire, it is so good, my partner never read the books and he still really enjoys it. Season two is almost done. I can not recommend it enough.

Thanks Friend 🫶 I used to watch films a lot more at home, but in all honesty I don’t watch them much unless I make time for them which is why I love going the cinema. Definitely take yourself out on a solo cinema trip! If you’re nervous, maybe go earlier in the afternoon if you can because it’s usually quieter 😊
