Midas proves that the story wasn’t reset!

its confirmed that kados continous travels back to season 1 and chapter 1 generally caused another timeline, which jonesy got sucked into (aka the entire og season) where they then had to use the big bang to create multiple other realities with one for the inhabitants of asteria, the chapter 4 island since that reality was collapsing. Asteria is a fusion of the remains of the Islands Artemis and apollo. And right now we are on a whole other Island called Helios, which is also likely in another dimension as shown in the big bang event. And in the wiki its also stated that kado killed midas which caused him to descend into the underworld. (Kado then proceeded to take weapons from midas's gang, his drum gun, oros head etc) The underworld however is a more universal place you could say, aka every dead soul goes there, regardless of the reality it died in. This rn is probably also just a small manifestation of the actual underworld, and the real underworld kind of goes over the bounds of different realms (which kado can easily travel over). I dont think kado went to midas his cell and cut off his hand there, since midas was probably either just dead(due to his reboot card being there) or he was locked up and guarded, and hades wouldnt let anyone in, we had to do a whole set of quests to "distract" hades and then midas destroyed the door for the first time. Idk if ppl just stan for midas too much to believe kado killed him, which isnt even a shame for midas considering kado is a feared being thats canonically billions of years old, feared and chased across space and time( In chapter 4 season 3 the entire purpose of that big machine was to predict the next eclipse, so you could flee before he arrives) Sure midas has the golden touch, but a vampire with a kinetic blade and wings and the ability to call a lunar or solar eclipse with blood moon at any time is not getting touched that easily. (If we're real here kado isnt really the type to sneak into smth ninja mode and quietly take gunnars smg for example, considering his short temper and egoistical nature)

@@faded4574 Ive been getting into fortnite lore recently, because one of my favourite antagonists (kado thorne, surprise surprise) seems to actually still be alive. At a location in chapter 5, aka cloistered castle(above lavish lair, the castle on the rock in the ocean) you can find multiple chapter 4 props, kados dog statues, speakers playing chapter 4 music, a portrait of him etc. This then also lead me on to just read more abt the former islands, the overall lore related to the eclipse and just generally chapter 4, I got a bit carried away , sorry lol

I’m actually starting to think that Kado Thorne didn’t take Midas’ hand because when I doing the rise of Midas quests I spoke to Jules and she said that she can make gauntlets for Midas so that he can control his golden touch so I think that the new Midas skin isn’t wearing a prosthetic hand I think he’s wearing one of his new gauntlets that Jules made for him.

Hmmmm🤔 ok this is pure speculation but in OG slone said it was an extraction mission meaning they needed something from the chapter 1 map I think they took the zero point from chapter 1 and put it into chapter 4 because at that point the zero point was petrified and dying so I think when they brought the zero point back it might have completely changed the chapter 4 island into a completely different island with some chapter 2 elements only problem with my theory is that we know there are giants under the map and idk how they could have possibly gotten there but that’s really my best theory on how

I think Chapter 4 is the farthest back on the timeline, and that Kado (the same person as The Timeless) had been traveling through time to collect items of power/relevance from the island's history. Chapter 5 is a jump to the furthest part in the timeline. That's just my theory

Honestly I think that Midas escaping only happned in this timeline since he was able to escape the underworld. Especially if this happened after OG where we changed certain details of the storyline. So in the original timeline he's either dead or was still trapped in the underworld

To be completely honest, i thought i was going to hate chapter 4 season 4, because of its chapter 2 season 2 knock off theme, (im a huge ch 2 se 2 lore keeper and will keep it intact) but ch 4 se 4 was really good in retrospect, i get a kinda nostalgia feeling when remembering how much fun i had with it and how good the music was. if there was something that softens my core for fortnite, its there ability to make new poi's fairly spread out, completely unique with their own ideas, and fun new bosses to mess around with. thus, IMO only chapter 2 season 2 and chapter 4 Season 4 have been able to master this for me.

Just because Midas is here doesn’t mean the timeline didn’t reset. He’s just from the old timeline. That’s why he’s still missing a hand. He did die from the shark but it was during the loop so he came back after 20 Mins. He went to the under world because he turned his daughter into gold and to get her soul back he had to exchange his own for it. Yall can agree or disagree but this is the most logical explanation and has the most proof to back it up.

Well the problem with Midas putting himself in the under world is that Jules was alive during the events of chapter 2 season 2 meaning he couldn’t have gotten to the underworld in that way also if the story reset all of the events from chapters 2,3, and 4 would have been erased and there are many things pointing against that but your theory is still a very good one

The story was def reset, jones whole time jumping caused a lot of things to play out differently(butterfly effect) so things like ghost and shadow and other events may have been changed and happened off screen. Then there the question,why is Midas hand gone if timeline rebooted? It’s because kado went to before season 5 when getting the hand, jones Time Machine only went back to season 5 so everything before season five is the same. A few more pieces of evidence are the appearance of characters like winter fest bushranger, Poseidon, and also summit seeker evie and the new ageless skin. All of these skins have slight or even big differences. Winter fest bushy is now Christmas theme and released in ch 5 season 1 while regular bushy was released in ch2 season 1, see the similarities? We know that snapshots are exact copies and I doubt Poseidon is a snapshot of rippley, so what if the reason Poseidon looks like rippley is because that is what the meddling with the timeline did, it made him the Greek god Poseidon. With summit seeker evie, her whole hair color has changed, boom another effect from the time jump. And finally with the new ageless skin it could be explained that the snapshot of geno found the island earlier then in our old timeline. If you have conflicting information with my claim please do let me know, I always want to make sure I’m following the story Tye right way.

But a lot of stuff was changed in season og the monster never damaged the zero point, which means that the person who convinced the seven to to the whole rocket thingy during season og was jones. The IO had no reason to do so, so once that happened the Big Bang made a new island. The reskins wouldn’t make old timeline canon, sure a few things are still but most of it is changed now that The timeline is reset. They will most likely reshape the story with elements of the old one, so they can pick and choose what they want to happen.

The reason they have Slone on the vitals is because Slone was apart of imagined order before season 5 so she was already there. Also we know that even though Slone told jones not to mess anything up on the timeline during season og, he still messed a lot of stuff up including the monster fight ever happening and the ice king never coming to the island, same with the cube exploding and the volcano event happening. I don’t think it ever was as if it were then the simple fact is peely and jones would of never bonded in the bunker, Jones would go poof as the io would still exist. I mean there’s no bunkers or anything and no underworld shenanigans would do anything as old characters remember past experiences. Also where the fuck is chaos agent. Also I just think of og just changing the loop surroundings and all and the Big Bang scattered characters through all of those new universes. Once jones stepped on some grass or changed one thing he would of been gone. The thing is I bet the Time Machine makes a snapshot of past events. So then events happen but a change won’t make time collapse. So I’d say basically it created a new version of the og island and due to the zero point being destroyed a new world was made. I just think that the zero point also is just spread apart like stw anomalies where there are shards and there’s 1 in each world/universe and everyone was scattered between them. Also death is meaningless in the fortnite world. I mean pelly came back from the dead essentially in his old body. So it applies to everyone. My head cannon is that the snapshot of aa character can take the place of a character if they died as it is filling a void and the snapshot leaves a snapshot. Also I bet originally duplicates were made into io guards and now I have no clue what they become.

@@faded4574 thanks. I just hope the new person is better at the story than Donald mustard was. He did make a good story; however only parts were good the overall story is a jumbled mess. I mean stuff like the ice king and all was a mystery for years but in a comic we learn he’s been chilling on the moon. I mean first off how did he get back to the moon and him freezing the prisoner makes no more sense. The reason being that he should have been freed at least once the island blew up in chapter 3. All of the dropped plot lines I hope the new writer will be able to bring back. Even the zero point is confusing. So it was the Big Bang and created all universes. Ok so how does it tie into stuff like marvel with the TVA is all those timelines it’s separate area? Also what separates them and how did galactus get to the island I thought the zero point was needed to travel realities. Also what is the explanation for stuff like family guy I mean in family guy stewie caused the Big Bang not the zero point or a mysterious force. My theory is it’s just the Big Bang in one universe and everything else is an offshoot of it with small big bangs creating universes. Basically let’s say it’s like the timeline branches in Loki but it the timelines touch it actually creates a new one or something. Also can be put as it’s like tectonic plates and universe zero has something like them and when they connect it makes a new tectonic plate or something. It might also have it so some universes are more similar than others like marvel is one corner and is semi close to the dc quadrant while robo cop is on the far other side and the zero point is in the middle. Also I just think the new world and all is just every universe in the same space with access to them and the zero point has a powerful shard of it in each one. It would open the door to a very interesting storyline as it’s like a McGuffin quest in a sense but each part is a powerful artifact.

Everything lines up with the story not being reset due to og being and extraction mission and not supposed to be changing time also many characters still have memories of chapters 1,2,3, and 4 and they also planned Midas’s comeback for a while so I don’t think he is going to retcon anything

I mean that was the leading theory in the community and it kinda made sense because we went back to chapter 1 and redid the end event making this chapter happen at the same time chapter 2 would have happened but in a different timeline but since Midas is now here that theory can’t be true
