I have a feeling that Deadeye is impersonating Midas. As we know, their voices are very similar (because it's the same voice actor). But then again, Deadeye is working for the Authority, so it wouldn't make sense for him to impersonate Midas. Although it may be very unlikely that Midas comes back to life, I actually hope he does. Midas is one of my favorite characters. He has such a complex personality, which makes him stand out from the others.
