7:45-absolutely 100% agree and i never hear people talking about it. If everyone is almost required to run flash then why don’t we skip the whole song and dance, give flash as base kit to free up more interesting gameplay. It’s the same problem jglers run into. If jg is forced to take smite every game why don’t we just give them smite for “free” so more niche spells are available. I also agree that we need more summoner spell options since variety is the spice of life. It gets boring having to run the same stuff always.

i get what you are saying, but some things come to my mind. flash is used on most champs but not all. champs like nasus, mundo or singed for example need to either take a compromise by using ghost or even use ghost and flash and not use teleport. the variety is already there, it just has been like that for many years now. you either choose between exhaust and ignite in mid whether you face a strong lane opponent, you eihter choose between teleport and ignite top whether you want to be aggressive or have a global ult, you play champs like shaco and get rid of flash in the first place. then you have summoners spellbook. i would love some variety nontheless. i totally agree with smite but then again assassins would be so op if they have flash, smit and ignite and go for cheesy lvl 2-3 ganks more often.

imo grievious wounds should affect healing as a component, and also affect shielding as a complete item, then theres reason to fully complete it before 6th item, it also makes sense considering the changes to spirit visage which now encompasses shielding as well as healing.
