I like this sketch, I think it describes the increasing marginalisation of older people in this country. You see ads from insurance companies like LV, talking about life insurance covers for people nearing 50. 50 for christ sake, people haven't retired by then!

Yeah, The Armando Iannucci Shows. Honestly one of the best things in British comedy in the 2000s - the first one was broadcast the week after 9/11 so it kind of fell below the radar
