@@bobibrown3358 in 1900 when the British came to govern Nigeria. 🇳🇬 they need people who want to and capable of administrative work. They encouraged the Igbos to take up the task, but also this sowed discontent with the Hausa and Fulani against the igbos. Who didn’t have the skills to man the administration. But the British also know when exiting Nigeria that giving power to Igbo will short change them. The British needed a compliant tribe they can manipulate. So they sowed the seeds to destroy the Igbo. And enthrone Hausa and Fulani to power. The British has carried out this agenda in several African countries. Example. Tell me what will happen if you come to a household of 5people and take the useless, unproductive uneducated person and make him head of household. Disaster will happen in that household.

Igbo destroyed civil services. They don't play by the rule. When the law is very strict, the first to complain will be the Igbo, followed by Hausa- Fulani, then Yoruba. We need restructuring of law, land and local resources, mineral resources followed by political restructuring. Limited the central resources and control but not power.

Listen, stay on topics you are well vested on. Do not dabble on things you do not know. The 1966 coup is one of those things you have no complete knowledge of. Question: does it mean my uncle and his entire family that were slaughtered in cold blood do not count? Does it mean that the more one hundred thousand Igbo and other Easterners slaughtered in cold blood do not count? Does the more than three million Igbo slaughtered in the genocidal war not count? Are you aware that the so-called Igbo coup was actually a Nigerian army coup, planned by the young men in the army? Are you aware that Chief Awolowo, the Yoruba king, was planned to take over the ruling of Nigeria? Who started which war? Are you aware of a strategy by Gowon that was called a “48 Police Action “ to capture Ojukwu and crush the Igbo? Have you heard about the Aburi Accord that could have avoided the war? Do you know who reneged on that accord? The questions are unending. Again, stay on topics you know well. Thanks Dr. Uma Washington, DC
@bobibrown33583 сағат бұрын
First of all Chief Awolowo was not a king and he had nothing to do with the coup, so trying to make it less implicating for Igbos by saying it was to make Awolo the head of state is a fat lie. This is why Igbos cannot absolve themselves of their involvement and reason for the coup and civil war.

Answer to the question u asked about why igbo's have issue where ever they go...from my perspective! they is a character flaw among igbo's ..i don't care if one is business savy ,its very good! But character matters,even igbos don't like igbos. if they can be humble ,not loud(they is nothing special igbos are doing ! when u talk of small scale businesses in nigeria yorubas dominate....traders,mechanics,salon,carpentary,tailors,transportation,electricians,butchery...i can go on and on,but u will think others tribes don't do anything or are not successful but igbos! No one is competing with anyone........in a nut shell,igbos . need to knw boundaries,humble,less arrogant! when u think u are the best then something is wrong....no one is ever the .best!!! Action speaks Louder than Words! Character is more than Money. I grew up with igbos in lagos ,no hate from me.....When u are arrogant people put their guards up ! human instinct

@ Jessicaposhy, you're just one those who propagate the falsehood and have lived with the hate, so is a norms and beliefs. The envious and hypocritical nature of yours is what you just brilliant played out,if you believe your tribe is doing well as you claim why is it that you are bittered with so much resentment against a people who you believe are arrogant noise makers. Your bad belle na follow come. The economic barricade against the old eastern region, where the seaports and airports are mere rubber stamp so as to frustrate foreign direct investments to the region by your awolowo and gowon,so to ensure the the easterners must migrate from their region if they must survive,and make sure they lose sense of ownership for easy and plundering of the region. The era where all these prejudice against the Igbos and stereotype are over,for we are the point of reckoning where the lies and wickedness can no longer be covered by your evil brown envelope print media houses and tribal bigots columnists from the Yorubas are over
