Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor - ENDING | The Black Hand of Sauron

The Black Hand is the leader of the Black Captains, The Tower and The Hammer. He personally killed Talion's family, both his wife and his son, which caused Talion to seek him out in order to kill him and exact his revenge, in turn weakening Sauron's grip upon Mordor.

Each battle is different because they each represent a portion of Sauron's darkness. The batle with the hammer was a legitamate fight because he represented Sauron's might, while the Tower messed with your head and tortured your psyche. And the Black Hand is the whispering lies and deceit of Sauron. He gave Celebrimbor a memory to put him off so that he could rip the shade from Talion's corpse abd into himself, thus bringing back the essence of Sauron himself

this is a good idea for this boss battle: When you beat the QTE you fight the Black Hand kinda like you fought the Hammer, but when you damage him for so long he turns into Sauron (like in the QTE) and he is invincible in that mode, and if you try to attack him he will damage you so hard, so, you have to do a semi-puzzle thing to taking him down (by not attacking him in a melee way)* then Sauron gets stuned and you have to do the QTE again to fight The HAND in the same way as before, this repeats three or four times and ends with an awesome QTE killing the Hand... Sorry for my English, Im Spanish :D its a cliche boss fight but I think this could have been epic! *this part is in progress, it consist in repeating three or four actions (throwing arrows on fire at him or smth like that...)

Skull Wolf because he had the ring. At the end of SoM, the Ring is with either Gollum or Bilbo, so to absorb the wraith of the elf who created it would be powerful enough to take the ring back.

Here's another way of looking at it: -The Tower sadistically relishes the player's disappointment in how easy fighting him is. -The Black Hand deceives the player into thinking the final boss battle will be an epic one.

I just played this, and I gotta say, while I still think this game is great...This kinda left me unsatisfied, I was hoping to have an awesome final boss fight...not a quick time event, at the very lest we should have gotten to fight The Black Hand and then he "merges" with Celebrimbor to become Sauron and have the QE.

as good as this fight was it was still too short and simple. I wanted it to be a long and hard fight. With Talion and Celebrimbor fighting The Black Hand and The Black Hand giving a good fight with moves completely identical to the ranger and the wraith. Like Link vs Dark Link in Zelda 2. Then once you defeat The Black Hand(just barely)he then pushes Talion back with that fire-blast and then the rest of this cutscene happens. That would've been a damn good bossfight in my opinion.

It’s a cool scene but I’m pretty sure the QuickTime event sequence when trying to brand your first graug was longer than the sequence for the final boss. Honestly I was expecting a blend of the hammer and the tower followed by this as a phase 3.

ravenandthecrow They tried to do something different with the bosses than what they did with the rest of the fights in the game, which caused the boss fights to kinda suck. But the rest of the game is amazing especially fighting the uruk captains

@Bane Knightfall Yea. IT is one of the reasons why I did not buy the game. The other reason is that I was under the impression for a very long time in my life that Sauron made the rings but later the lore was changed to say it was some elf as if the Dark Lord of Mordor needed an elf to do something like this. Some bullshit change made by the author I believe from a book I never heard off before it hit the shelves in my part of the world. Now it is canon. The same goes for Lords of Shadow 2 ... the end fight between Dracula and Satan ...... was just a lame cinematic. There was only one fight between the devil and Drac while the Devil possessed Alucard. I mean come on!!! Why would The ultimate evil need to possess a vamp to fight the king of vampires. I get stuck on details like this to the point it ruined the game for me. It is a flaw for gamer

I finished the game like 30 minutes ago and I can only tell you that I also did not understand how the elf was absorbed if it was not supposed to be a curse from the blood ritual but rather that the elf chose you and revived you using you as a vessel I no longer understand the blood ritual

The game itself is quite fun with the Orcs and The Hammer, but the rest is really disappointing. The Tower and The Black Hand had the potential to be great villains and difficult bosses, but instead you have to fight some random Captains while the villains of the story have garbage boss battles, one worse than the other. Thankfully, Shadow of War learned from those mistakes and made all its Story Mode bosses actually challenging. Oh, and by the way, this ending also sucks story-wise, considering that Talion was glad he could finally die before the battle begun and after the battle he wants to kill Sauron himself and save Middle-Earth because... I don't know, reasons?

I don't know if you're still trying to figure this out, but there's side quests that do it. There's 10 per weapon, and if only changes Talions weapons. After completing the first five The sword and Dagger a reforged with more of a Gondorian craftsmanship, but after completing the last five the reforged to look more elven. The changes are purely cosmetic.

There's a reason why Shadow of Mordor won the GOTY and Trash of War did not lol Shadow of War is a very bad and unpolished game. I'm glad it didn't get nominated for game of the year

@@blaster23456 In Shadow of War the Orc cuscenes are WAY too long and too unserious. The shadow of War world is like you were in a clown world, not an orc world. Shadow of Mordor was much darker, more brutal and harsher than Shadow of War. Also the combat in Shadow of War is absolute trash. The story was kinda shit. Many many many things
