Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of war, Two great games with great gameplay and story. Although there was a lot of grinding and sometimes it got tedious and repetitive, overall they were great, and personally, they will always be among my fav games... "As long as I have breath in my body, my fate is my own." Rest in peace Talion

they fixed the grinding part a lot tho. the last stage of shadow of war used to take around 10 sieges and many, many hours to complete. now its just 4 sieges. loved the change

Next game will surely come out, just not with Talion, unless they're planning on Nazgul gameplay. But we saw in the end of Blade of Galadriel DLC that Celembrimbor escapes and he calls Eltariel. She, obviously, follows his call and now you have an answer of what the next game might be about. If this will be true, then they must put some mentions of Talion, of his service as a Nazgul, and Celembrimbor telling Eltariel of his death. Maybe we'll get to explore the place of his death. Who knows.

I imagine that after he became the 9th seeing that they were branded by his ring they still followed him, but now that he worked for Sauron they went back to being pretty much unbranded uruks

they would of been hunted of by the Dunedain and all of Gondor, but if they remained in mordor most of mordors ground fell (around mount doom though) so i presume tried to run but to be hunted by the free peoples.

I imagine that Ranger and Ratbag were the last Orc survivors because they of their own free will deserted from Sauron’s service and went into hiding in the far east. Probably pillaging and razing villages in Rune while they all go off and fight for Sauron, the morons,

I’m glad he did. He finally got to see his family and rest in eternal peace in the Undying Lands. Knowing his pain and sacrifices were not in vain. Remember he was deadened in almost all his senses except pain. He was in constant torture trying to keep his mind sane and his own.

I love the lotr. Books, movies, etc. Not the show. I don’t count the show. I know the games aren’t cannon but fuck do I wish they were. The unsung hero archetype that the rangers in middle earth fulfill is just so interesting to me. They do all they do never expecting thanks from those they protect. Talion took this to another level, willingly giving up his own soul, his eternal rest with those he loved in order to stand between Sauron and middle earth for as long as he could. Holding out against the corruption, using Saurons power against him until he is finally able to rest.

Is it just me or would this song also work for Batman? In terms of backstory and struggle there is an eerie similarity between both Talion and Batman. For me this was more than just another game series. This was TLOTR done perfectly just like the films did. Talion was such an awesome protagonist and this song is so fitting and beautiful. The conquest and the nemesis system were so intriguing. The only characters I truly didn't like were Celebrimbor and Eltariel. God they were such cringy characters but the rest are so incredible, Sauron, Talion, Shelob, Ratbag, the orcs, Nazgûl, the drakes, the trolls and the Gondor people. Lore wise nothing comes close to the fantasy epic that is Middle-Earth. Eltariel was just a villain she wasn't a good person and was a random new side character that shouldn't have existed she was just made to please feminists. In all I loved this game but I wish they didn't try so hard to close Talion's story. It was obvious the writers wanted his story to end. There was a possibility for at least two more games in this brilliant franchise instead we just get a new crappy horrendously made Gollum game ugh. Disappointing.
