Very sad …. Terrible city, was there 3 months ago. It is not what it used to be. You can see all the big corporations like MacDonald etc or some modern “Fusion” restaurant, but not anymore the German food places and retail that made Frankfurt’s character and charm. The street festival is overcrowded just like at the airport. No atmosphere. Awful.

I think that there is no Arab country that imposes special clothing on Europeans. Perhaps this exists in some Gulf countries, and in some cases they are required to dress somewhat modestly and not to wear the hijab! As is the case in European countries, where it is obligatory to remove the hijab, for example, in some institutions.
