Bei der Beschreibung ist einiges nicht korrekt. MIDDLE OF THE ROAD bekamen weltweit fast 50 Goldene Schallplatten. Allein für Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep um die 25. Diese Platte verkaufte sich über 5 Millionen mal. "Samson and Delilah" war in Europa in den TOP 3. In Deutschland höchste Platzierung auf 2. Unter anderen in BeNeLux Platz 1. Auch "Bottoms Up" und "Yellow Boomerang" verkauften sich Millionen fach. "Honey No", die letzte Single unter RCA erreichte zum Beispiel in der Schweiz Platz 5. Unter ARIOLA produzierte die Band noch 5 Alben. Leider ohne Unterstützung der Plattenfirma von weniger Erfolg, obwohl MIDDLE OF THE ROAD gerade in dieser Phase zeigten, was sie drauf haben, wie vielfältig sie musikalisch sind.
