Hi Summer :) I absolutely love this workout. The best part is by the end of it, I feel so stretchy that my goal of getting my middle splits is replenished and seems like it is in sight. I am wondering if you would also be able to do a front split workout. This is the first one on KZbin that I’ve found that doesn’t make empty promises of getting your splits in a week… instead leading us through dynamic active and passive stretches to build a toolbox to train often and consistently. It would be so awesome to have a front split workout video to refer to as well to eventually get all my splits with your amazing guidance.

This mobility session is also very effective. It's a very tough workout, especially for a rusty forty-year-old man like me. In any case, I saw that following your exercises my hips opened up more and more. I love your Dynamic Stretching workouts.. 🙏Thank you so much

I just keep doing this over and over and the results speak for themselves in just a couple weeks of adding it to my calisthenics a few days a week

Happy belated birthday, Summer 😊 Due to some issues, I started practicing hip and back opener a couple of weeks ago. It was great for me to notice an improvement from quite stiff to quite flexible in short time (of course not on your level at all). Some of your exercises I knew before in varities, some are not possible for me yet. However, I learned a lot of nice additions and variations from the vid which I am sure will bring me forward. Great explaining as always, Thanks a lot. 😊

Pretty stiff guy here! On a straddle/pancake I hardly manage 90 degrees between the legs. Hovewer I quite liked the routine and found it day opener! Nice

Just found your channel and have been watching your videos. Im impressed at how much you know being self taught. I pay to work with a trainer to work on these moves and you have a lot of the same moves/training on here for free. Keep up the great work and good luck with your channel.

Hello Summer, thank you for your increadible workout! You are so motivating! How often do you recommend me to do this workout in a week? Is everyday too much or should I only do it very other day?

What a great workout to work and your splits and straddle (I’m also working on my handstands). How often do you advise to do this workout per week? Thank you so much! ❤

I've been trying to achieve my middle splits for a year, I'm stuck 30cm from the ground. I can do the front splits, but I get hamstrings pain. I can do it one week, but the next week I can't do and feel pain, I can't never get consistence and do my splits every day when I want. How could I solve this? I want to be able to do my splits every day and without pain. It's been more than a year trying to get this results.

Hey! really enjoying your content and finding it really useful especially now that i am travelling and not able to go to the gym. Just wanted to ask how long you have been training calisthenics for as we all know gains don't happen overnight and though i try to not ever compare myself to anyone and remind myself i am going through my own journey it's sometimes nice to have a reminder that those who are better than me have been training for much longer to also then set myself some realistic gains goals haha. Thanks again !

So how do I do the split and strattle part of the video if I'm trying to learn how to split? I'm using an ottoman but it feels like I'm not doing it right.

I do the hip CARS, cobra and some groin tilts but yeah I really can't get even close to a middle split let alone flattening my stomach forward. Was you always flexible to begin with? It's hard knowing what progressions I can do to make things easier. Any advice?
@Summerfunfitness2 жыл бұрын
Did you do this workout? This workout will help you get more flexible. No I was not, I couldn’t do the splits as a kid. I earned all of this flexibility as an adult with a lot of time and dedication. I have a newer KZbin short video showing progressions for pancake that should help you out.

@@Summerfunfitness Literally just did the workout now, and even with 3 pillows underneath me i can't get into the straddle? :( I'll keep doing this workout a couple times a week and hopefully my body gets better over time. Looking forward to seeing an easier video.
@Summerfunfitness2 жыл бұрын
@@dandogamer bend your knees, get your butt up as high as you need to and work on it. Maybe sit on a chair. I have a few regression options in my 3 day a week calisthenics workout program video. It'll take time. There's literally nothing else to do but make do with what you got and work on your goal knowing that you can get better if you practice and celebrate your body.
@dandogamer2 жыл бұрын
@@Summerfunfitness Thanks for the advice 😊And will check that video out! My goal is to do the press to handstand, I can already handstand do moves like crow to HS but it's really the flexibility that's letting me down. Followed along to the your video: '3 tips for learning how to press to HS' today 💪and that was a lot easier so will keep that going!!
