I SCREAMED when Nadine asked "What was the first serum"? And I guessed because I worked in a related field in NYC..and used it when it came out forever until I started going to Dr. Dennis Gross!!!And the flood gates opened on serums!!! AND!! Loved this interview and have subscribed. I am subscribed to Nadine’s channel which may be why this came up in my suggestions. So glad it did! Fiona Golfar is the lady who fixed her scraggy neck and Fiona herself has indeed written pieces on this. I really like Nadine’s straight talking approach and that she calls BS on products that do not do as they claim or are very overpriced. Looking forward to watching more of your videos, Jo.

An excellent interview, and I would like to add a rousing ‘Amen!’ to the need for a truly effective cream for old stretch marks and elasticity on large areas of the body. I’m giving too much away here. I’ve had three children 🤣

Just found your vlog today and have binge watched 4 in a row. Really enjoyed them. The one thing I would say is that you should really advise people to be cautious about the rise of the celebrity “dermatologists”. The “ “ are because so many of them are self-proclaimed with absolutely NO further professional training. It’s not difficult to check as all recognised qualifications are registered against doctors’ registrations on the GMC website which anyone can check. There are some, like Sam Bunting and Stephanie Williams who have nothing apart from their basic medical degree. Caveat Emptor.

I totally understand the “Fast Fashion” ..... but the majority of people that are on a modest salary could only afford to buy x1 clothing that is more expensive and better quality, where as people on a more comfortable lifestyle could afford x5 good quality pieces of clothing.... if your not on a modest salary it’s really hard to understand this, if I had the money I would myself buy better quality but I can’t 😖

If I was offered a session with a beauty editor, I would pass. I would spend time with a dermatoligist such as Dr Sam, Dr Dray, Dr Linn who have an imperical background and objective recommendations. The science of skin is simple. It's function as a barrier is affected by internal and external factors. The beauty industry's business model is to market an aspirational aethetic and to target insecurities for profit - they are not benevolence driven. Cosmetics are just that, cosmetic. We can not reverse aging.

hi Jo i've been using prescription strength Retirides 0.05 vit A for a year, (shop retinol irritated my skin) and i've found you need masses of moisturiser or oils and Hyaluronic acid or all three to counter act the dryness it can cause especially on the neck Fushi Organic oil is really good it soothes and heals in minutes, you have the world of fabulous products all ranges and prices there for the picking you lucky dab xxx

I've always noticed you don't like kids much. Nor do I. I'm in my 40's & glad I didn't have any. I live in Covent Garden. I love my flat. But I live over a school. I'm on the 4th floor & the noise from the kids (all 211 of them!) some of the pe teachers drive me nuts. They shout their heads off. It's such a tiny playground. But the sounds really gravel. Jo, that man on your show today said you are so pretty. He’s right. You’re an absolutely beautiful looking woman. I don’t think you need a face/neck lift. Your bone structure is fantastic and I think a face /neck lift would ruin your natural beauty. Perhaps, fillers or something would be beneficial. I know there are procedures for ageing hands, maybe there’s a procedure for the neck...? Retin A would work well on your beautiful face. Do your research... Checkout Hotandflashy on KZbin, Angie has tried many different anti ageing procedures and skincare. I must add, I am of the opinion that you are incredibly beautiful as you are and do not need any procedures. A good Moisturiser, SPF and a fabulous lipstick is all a beauty like you needs. X
